*Members that post to debate instead of participating in fruitful discussion.

Attempting to prove you're right and the other person is wrong never ends well. This is a discussion board, not a debate board. You want to debate, find another avenue for that. Teach, coach and learn through productive collaborative discussion. That is the paradigm of this site.

Read the message in the guidelines of this site:

"Welcome to Big Blue Huddle, a place for civilized discussions about the NY Giants and football.  This forum is intended to be a place for respectful and thoughtful conversation, please conduct yourself accordingly."

* Abuse of the Quote feature.

If used more than once to reference someone, it often results in inflammatory comments and a discussion that goes downhill.

* Ridiculing the comments of someone.

* Making statements that someone's opinion is a statement of fact and is wrong that results in the other person being offended.

The most courteous posters are the ones that have taken the time and made the effort to meet the other members. They have learned that there truly is a real flesh and blood person behind that keyboard.

Post with respect and courtesy. Those that do not will be spoken to privately and action has and will be taken in cases of repeat offense.

* When a Moderator or Administrator steps in and it doesn't concern you, stay out of it.
