I dont know where you got your information from, but some of it is wrong.
My other issue with iPhones is that you can't fart without having to hook up the iPhone to your PC to sync
From PC World (when I talk about Mac products, I like to use Non-Mac resources) - Wireless synch'ing.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/242242/how_to_use_wireless_sync_in_ios_5.html It works great, because that is how I synch mine. I use the Sony speaker dock so it charges while I listen to Pandora or iHeartRadio and synch's at the same time wirelessly
launch iTunes (which can take up to 10 minutes to load because it's such a bloated POS)
I dont know what kind of computer you have, but I have an older Dell XPS Studio 7100. iTunes 10.5.1 loads in 4 seconds. I have my main library with over 23,000 songs (I have over 91,000 total) and 5 music libraries I have synch'd to my phone and they are all up and running with music playing in less than 5 seconds.
Find out that there have been a dozen updates since the last time you updated (which was last week). If you commit to installing them, say goodbye to another 20 minutes of your life.
10.3 was released on June 7, 2011, 10.4 on August 22, 2011 and 10.5 on November 14th, 2011. I know your comment was an over-exaggeration, but sadly some people (maybe not here - but uninformed people I work with) would have taken this as gospell.
Sync the song to the library (another 5-10 minutes)
Ok - in the 5 libraries I have, there are 1325 songs in one, 1400 songs in the second, 128 in the third, 174 in the fourth and 578 songs in the last. When I upgraded my phone to iOS 5, I backed it up, reset the phone back to factory defaults (my choice so there was no apps or data that might cause an issue (been around way too many windows upgrades to be wary) and when I went to resynch ALL of my data (5 libraries, contacts, notes, calendars, apps (128 apps - a few of which are well over 20 megs (which is huge on the iPhone)) the entire synch process took me just about an hour. Based on your calculations, the quickest I would have been completed was 12.5 days.
Sync the song to the iPhone assuming you cancel all the nag screens asking for a backup. If you proceed with the backup, that's another 15-20 minutes
I have no nagging back up screens because. I turned off auto back up with a script. It backs up automatically at the end of each synch and now with iOS 5 you can back up to the cloud - which is quite nice. That works in the background (no effect on the phone operations at all) when you are in a wi-fi spot.
To delete programs in Android, you have to go into settings, applications, choose the app, and then press uninstall. On the iPhone, it's so easy that a 3 year old can do it. By accident. All the time.
It is not that easy - and it is a 4 step process. So to "accidentally" you have to not be paying attention or your doing the "point, click think" version of things. To delete an app on the iPhone, you have to hold that app for a couple of seconds until the all start vibrating. Then you have to touch the red "X" in the upper corner, then you have to say "YES" to the are you sure you want to delete the app and then again to the "Deleting this app will also delete all stored data" question.
I am not going to get into an argument over which phone is better, because I believe it is personal preference. But I deal with a lot of people at work who have Androids and say basically the same things you have commented here. If you are happy (which you appear to be) with your Android, great. I absolutely love my iPhone and personally have never run into any of the reasons you listed for "never owning another "i" device again"
