Gaborik scored again.  That's 4 goals in 4 games.  They could really use that offensive punch that was sorely lacking last season.  That last goal had a crazy rebound off the boards.  Couldn't have asked for a better setup than that.  Glad McDonough didn't miss it.  Nice couple of games in a row for the Rangers.  Hanging in there against a loaded Vancouver team to take it late, and then winning this one with 1 sec left to play.

Gaborik looks like a completely different player than he was a year ago.  A much more confident aggressive player this season.

It certainly helps having a legitimate center to play with.

terry, heard he's close. He's skating hard & has a green lite for shooting wrist shots only. So for now, no slappers. Guess the shoulder isn't quite there yet. Haven't seen or heard a timeline. A guess...10 days(?).

Wolski is reaching Avery's popularity level with Tort's. He better return soon, and play well. Won't it be nice when the Callahan-Anisimov-Dubinsky line actually does something good?

Yes, it absolutely will be great Slick.  That line is too talented to stay slumping forever.  That's the best 2nd line the Rangers have had in years.  Eventually they will get it together and then the team will really be a force.  The big X-Factor as a I see it now is whether or not Marc Staal can play.  He's an All-Star defender.  The best defender on the team.  You can't just plug a guy in to replace somebody like that.  Hopefully his symptoms clear up and he's cleared to play because adding some stellar defense with a suddenly potent offense would make for a heck of a good team.

Love this team.   :boldblue:

We've been waiting for a decade and a half for a team like this.

Just hoping Sather doesn't make a crazy move considering Staal's health.  8 months since he got a concussion and and still feeling the effects.  If Staal returns, I'd move him A.S.A.P

I wouldn't move Staal.  This team needs a healthy Staal.  As well as guys like McDonagh and Girardi have played, they aren't as good as a healthy Staal.

The team does need a healthy Staal yet when a 24 yr had 8 months of post concussion syndrome, it's only a matter of time until the next concussion.  If a window of health and opportunity present itself, I'd move him as quickly as possible.

Its risky either way.  I understand where you are coming from.  But I doubt because of your point that the Rangers will get equal value for him.  With this team being close, I would not want them to take a short term step back.

Tough call on Stahl either way but length of post concussuion symptoms not a good sign in my mind. If rangers put him up for sale now teams will look at him as damaged goods and give little in return. I think we will keep him and hope for the best. That being said Mcdonagh looks anything but young and the new kid erickson looks good so far as well and del zotto looks rejuvenated. I like out young d and also the way so far the team is sticking up for each other. Once 2nd line starts scoring we are taking off. I hope they leave stepan with the first line. I don't worry about sather making any moves now as he usually takes the other guys lunch in a trade. I only worry about his free agent moves. LETS GO RANGERS

There's no discreet way the Rangers can attempt to move Stahl upon his return. Why would they suddenly shop their #1 defenseman shortly after he returns from a concussion?  If he returns and plays well for a reasonable period of time showing no ramifications from the concussion, then they could dangle him,but then why would they? We'll have to see how this plays out but it doesn't look to good right now.
