the play of JPP against the Saints highlighted whats wrong with our defense, he played the game with heart and hustle on every down and we just haven't seen that for a while on defense. Lately our players talk the talk but don't walk the walk...

I think Kiwi busts his ass, but he is misused at LB which causes him to look tenative or out of position.

Don't get me wrong, I want him at LB...as a hybrid Ted  Hendricks type...playmaker.

Honestly, I think some of the DLinemen (Osi and maybe Tuck) believe they are All World players yet they aren't playing at that level due to injuries, attitude, etc.  They seem to think they really are better than they actually are.  IMHO Osi should be traded to rid that attitude.  Tuck has been injured so much it seems over the past couple years that I think he is a shell of his former self.

We are not getting any superb LB play from our guys (with some exception to Boley).

Our secondary is inconsistent (however Prince looks to be coming on nicely).  I can't tell if our secondary is inconsistent because we have such a hole in our LB play.

Eli will probably be our only pro bowl rep but he is competing for the 3rd QB spot behind Rodgers and Brees with the likes of Romo, Ryan and Vick.  If Eli played in the AFC he's easily make a team that will be so thin at QB that a plummeting Ryan Fitzpatrick could be chosen.

I disagree. Yes Eli certainly deserves a pro bowl bid, if he were in the AFC he would still finish behind Brady, Big Ben (the Steelers fans are everywhere), and right now, probably behind Tebow. As was said, it is a popularity contest and Eli would lose big time. Eli has an outside chance of making it this year, but I wouldn't bet the house on it.
I hate to include the word NASTY, but that is part of being a winning football team.

Tebow is not making the probowl.  His passing stats are atrocious and he has only started have of his teams games.
