I thought he shot the first one out having seen Ware's infraction.   Maybe I'm being kind.

And Baas was an all pro at the position? Maybe Cordle will get more of a look next year.

Rambo, you won't get me to agree with that. They are so much better running the ball with Boothe at Center there is no comparison to be made. I'll take him over Baas (of anyone else on the roster) from this moment on.

Jacobs ran for 100 yards and there were no sacks. What do you want?

The Coach sees the glass as half full. The Media sees the glass as half empty. The Fans can't understand why we have a glass that is twice as big as it needs to be.

Yeah, fix the long snaps. That one breakdown on the sprint into the backfield was pretty bad though.

Boothe is a work in progress. He's far from the only one on the roster we can say that about. The last two games the O Line has looked the best it has all season. I'm all for continuity. Bad snaps can be eliminated with practice.
You do or you do not! There is no try.

bamagiantfan and  Rocky: +1. For a guy who has played very little at center until recently, his performance has been more than adequate.

I don't think it's an accident that the Giants running game does better with Boothe at center.  The snaps are an issue, but they will get better.

I have been feeling this way for a few weeks now. I am thinking Baas was probably better suited to play guard.  Maybe instead of looking for a guard, we should look for a center and move Baas over.

Not happening.  Baas will be the Giants' center next year.

He played the position very well for San Fran last year.  He has been crippled by a recurring knee injury, concussive issues and having to learn a new blocking scheme than was used in San Francisco.  He will be fine and the Giants' Center of the future for many years to come.

I saw a much improved Snee last night, which also was a big help to the running game. Good news for the balance of the season.

I wouldn't be so sure of that Todge.  So far Baas has shown that he lacks the FBI to play the center position for the NY Giants.   Either the team has a new coach and a simpler scheme or he learns a whole lot this off season or the team moves him to guard where he can play to his strengths.

Yes

Booth and Petrus have really helped the running game.  Besides one play, when was the last time the Giants handled Ratliff so easily?

I am confident that Kevin Boothe will correct the issue as he gains more experience. Otherwise, his play has been very good; both his run and pass blocking. As for David Baas, I wouldn't count on him for the future. Those headaches aren't migraines as much as the symptoms are similar. They are related to a neck problem which has him and the team more than a little concerned.

It really is too bad that Koets was lost to a torn knee ligament, herniated disk. I think he might have paid dividends much as we hope Boothe will.  Issues of health and durability seem to be taking over the game.

Cheers!
