Fortunately, Ware was banged up & couldn't come with his "A" game.
Still, Pagan did u get a gander @ the total whiff he had on Ware?
Oh Brother! My heart skipped a beat...

Ware makes even the best OT's look foolish and he is 2nd in the league in Sacks.  But he didn't get any last night.  Diehl looked horrible on that whiff, but I didn't see too many other foolish plays by him.  I actually think the position is being played better now than when Beatty was in there.  At the very least they are running the ball better and that cannot be disputed.

Just Awful

Rambo I have to ask.   Do you have some sort of personal problem with Boothe???   I could be wrong but wasn't it you that posted a few weeks ago that he should be cut right away??

To me a player like Boothe is so important to a team.  He can play several different line positions and play them well.   Yes I agree with everyone that he has to get those snaps down.  Could cost them a game.  But if he is going to be the center for the rest of the season he should get enough snaps to help the situation.  I feel pretty good about having him a Giant.

Webster29  I also think Booth has helped us a great deal as a back up coming off the bench.
The addition of Booth, Petrus and DD back at OLT we are now generating a running game.

Seems to me with practice, as you have indicated, Booth will get the snap procedure down.
The guy gives a 100%, hopefully, Booth will serve us in a highly positive manner down the stretch.

Webster29  If a player has talent, Booth certainly does, and gets efficient coaching, and gives a 100% effort things should turn out fine.

Boothe's snaps aren't getting any better if anything they are staying the same or getting worse.  This guy is not a center.  If anything he can play that Shawn Andrews type of role last season.  But not at center where one bad snap can cost the Giants a game they need.

I was not what you would call a big Boothe supporter in the past.  Yet his play and intelligence (his FBI  :D)  have won me over.   Boothe may not be the most athletically gifted lineman, but he makes up for it with versatility and smarts.   With Boothe at center there is no doubt the offensive line calls are being called out quicker and with less errors.  His strength in his blocking is his strength.    He will occasionally be beaten by speed.

As for his snaps they have gotten better.  I remember in training camp a couple of years ago where Boothe's snapping was so bad it was disrupting the practices.

I like him at C.  With the rest of this season & a full year next, he'll  be fine.

The Giants can't let another draft go by without replenishing the OL. With that said, as long as Pat Flaherty's around I always have  at least some confindence in this unit. I agree with Todge, I think Bass is still the Center of the future. I like Boothe's versatility and like having him plug holes where needed. I've been perplexed about Snee's drop off but thank god he's showing some signs of coming out of it, I have to believe he's been playing banged up all year. I'd like to see the Giants go after Stanford's David Decastro, he should be DD's replacement. If Brewer can't go they'll need to find a RT. So a line of Beatty, Decastro, a healthy Bass, Snee and Brewer or someone else with Boothe, Anderews, Petrus and Cordle providing depth looks pretty darn good to me. Oh btw, draft LB's in rounds 2 and 3 :)
