Are we happy now?

Happy they are headed to Green Bay and not down to the dome with the Saints.
That'll be in what, two weeks from now?  >:D

It would be nice to win a playoff game in more than one year in eight and in 5 playoff berths.

I think any Eagle fan with all of their playoff wins over the last 8 years would take what the Giants have over the last 8 years over their championshipless years.

I am sure they would.  That being said that is behind us and winning the Super bowl doesn't mean that complacency should set in nor should mediocrity be celebrated.

We are Giant Fans winning it all is the goal, to do that one must win in the playoffs.

What we saw today is exactly what it is all about.  Passionate, hard fought football.  Aside from some penalties and pressure given up by the o line early and it was close to a perfect effort.

You can't expect perfection and championships all the time.  We've been fortunate as Giant fans to have seen 3 championships in the last 25 years.  No team has won more Super Bowls during that period of time and only 3 other franchises during the period have won as many (49'ers, Cowboys and Pats).

I never said anything about perfection.  I think I only said it would be nice to win a playoff game for the second year in 5 tries.

And it is.

Look up the word, lugubrious, CAGiantsFan. You'll surely find pictures of several of our fellow Huddlers there.  For some reason, I can't help but imagine them sniffing Vicks Vaporub while issuing their Cassandra-like warnings.

Cheers!

And YES, I am very happy now. :ok: :ok: :ok: :ok: :ok:

As is Eli, TC and many others around town.
I hate to include the word NASTY, but that is part of being a winning football team.

LOL.  Although I am a little hurt that you thought I would have to look up lugubrious.
