The BOLD Prediction thread
« on: January 29, 2012, 11:12:05 AM »
No, not a prediction on the winner or score of the game.  We have or will have these in other threads.

On one of the NFL network shows they have each panelist give a bold prediction, which is something unexpected or unusual that they think will happen that week.  For example, it could be that Team X will recover an onside kick.  Or some little used player will have a better game than some other player.  So, since we have another week of torture to come, waiting for the game I thought it might be interesting for some of you guys to exercise your creativity and make a BOLD prediction.

I've already posted mine in the flow of another thread but here is it again:

The Giants' TEs will have more catches and more yards than the NE TEs.

Henry Hynoski will score a touchdown.

Tom Coughlin gets a Gatorade dunk.

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me or nobody is going to hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much can you take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! - Rocky Balboa

The Refs will actually call holding.

I'm not even going to say what's really on my mind since it's what I dont account for that ends up happening.  I'll just say that someone is going to 'soar'

I get a youtube video of JimV wearing a Beckum Jersey and a Barden hat, chowing down on my special recipe crow and washing it down with a Shipyard, with a big smile on his face saying, "I'm glad I was wrong!". :)

Bill Belichick will actually wait until the clock reads 0:00 before he goes on to the field to congratulate Tom Coughlin.
"17-14 fellas.  One touchdown and we are world champions.  Believe it and it will happen!  17-14 is the final.  Let's go!"  Michael Strahan, with 2:39 remaining in SB42.

Easy cure. Tape/DVR the game and find out when the 4th quarter is starting. Watch it live then. The bad stuff would have already happened, and Eli will have just started to perform surgery without anasthesia on the Pats and their fans. This way you won't suffer through being down 17. After the game and postgame festivities you can sit back watch the rest while knowing they won.
