Gisele wants prayers for so poor tom doesn't get beat up

“My sweet friends and family,” the e-mail began. “This sunday will be a really important day in my husband’s life. He and his team worked so hard to get to this point and now they need us more than ever to send them positive energy so they can fulfill their dream of winning this super bowl . . .

“So I kindly ask all of you to join me on this positive chain and pray for him, so he can feel confident, healthy and strong. Envision him happy and fulfilled experiencing with his team a victory this sunday.

“Thank you for your love and support. Love, G :)”

I'm sure Tom is really happy this got out. Now as we sack him sunday which one of our guys will be saying a prayer over him.  =)) =))

Gisele has every reason to be fearful for Tom Brady.  It would be ironic if she was inadvertantly planting seeds of doubt in Tom's mind.

Eli's wife has seen her hubby get hit a couple hundred times on a football field before they married. She's battle hardened. Brady's wife G, is from South America. She probably gets squeamish @ the sight of the 2007 SB.

z, me thinks not only has G planted the seeds, they've taken root.

I envision Brady being pounded mercilessly by Tuck, JPP and Osi.   That is what I am praying for.  That Tommy starts to duck and cringe when there isn't even a player near him as he has gotten beaten up so bad.

It's ridiculous the things people "pray" for.  Maybe she'd be better off asking her friends and family to "pray" for the sick and homeless, not that her poor millionnaire husband win a football game.  Asking for support and 'positive energy' is fine.  Asking for 'prayers' is absurd.   I think God has more important things to worry about.  I see plenty wrong with it regardless whose wife it comes from.

I agree George.   Her comments may have been well intentioned support for her husband, but it not an appropriate thing to pay for.
