C'mon, it's not like the 2007 Giants were shrinking violets. Showing up in Phoenix wearing all black, for the funeral for the Pats perfect season? Plax making his 21-17 guarantee? Strahan promising to "stomp you out"? Those Giants were brash too, and it didn't stop them from winning the game.

These guys have microphones shoved in front of them for two weeks running, because the NFL wants to market this to the max and squeeze every last drop of advertising money it can. So what are the players supposed to say? That they think they'll lose?

As I said to andrew, you can do this.  It only takes like 15 minutes and it doesn't hurt !!!!

But then, I could never move south of the Mason Dixon Line.

And selfishly my friend, that's bad for you, but good for us.
Go Red, Grey and Blue !!

This is simply media hype.  They are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.  The Pats are talking too.  I hate the media.

They give the public what they crave. Of course I understand you're not wrapping them all up in one package.
The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.

FWIW, from an overseas perspective, there hasn't been a discernible boastfest from the G-Men.
"You never pick us: you never pick The Giants."

Personally, I'd rather they shut their pie-holes.
