I keep saying that we're playing with house money, so if we lose, it's still been a GREAT run.  But, for the first few houirs after the game, I'll be devastated.  Then, when the sun comes up Monday, I'll go back to realizing it HAS been a great run.

Well said. Of course, most fans are fickle and not as centered as you.

I'll be disappointed if the Giants lose.  But I will not be one of these Reese, Coughlin, Gilbride or Fewell needs to go people.  I bet the house this forum the media and radio airwaves will be filled with those people if the Giants lose.

I wasn't so upset at the beginning with a few of the comments.  Now, the 'Brady was rattled' stuff etc., is really making me uneasy.  Just shut up and go and practice and play.  I really haven't heard too much out of the Patriots players.  Maybe BB issued the gag order as far as negative quotes.  The Giants better not be over confident, there's no reason to be.

Two things about the Giants' quotes.  First, they constantly have to deal with the NY media who keep pushing them until they finally say something stupid.  The more those guys can cause trouble, the better they like it.  Second, I've seen some headlines that proclaim something controversial being; then when you read the story, there's nothing like that in it at all.

Jim, I think you have got it just about right. And certainly nothing more than what Brady stated himself. Plus I have not read anything from any Giant's trophy wife asking for prayers.

Most importantly, I have heard nothing approaching braggardness from the Giants most important player: Eli Manning.

For me it all depends, play your hearts out and I can live the result, win or loss, nomater what.....piss away an opportunity with lack of focus, dumb mistakes, no energy and un inspired football and I suspect I will always see it as missed opportunity.

Leave it all on the field.  Give it your best shot.   And as bad a loser as I am, even I couldn't complain.
