St. Mary's,

My condolences also go out to you and your family.

Nosebleed,

That was very nice. Thank you for sharing it with us. Time does cure the hurt, if ever so slowly. But time will never heal the loss.

Jaime, my heart goes out to you and your family. Such a tremendous and heart-wrenching loss. We only have one, irreplaceable, God-given father to guide and mold us and teach us as young men the ways of manhood. To lose such a special person is nearly impossible to put in words. May God's peace and blessings be with you and yours through this emotionally-draining time.

Guys,

I'm overwhelmed by your very kind & supportive words. The capacity of this Board to share is boundless. I drew on the strength of all of you here as the end drew near. I consider myself very fortunate to have u all in my corner these days. I knew this day would come, as it has for so any others. Now it is my turn to walk the walk. It is a true comfort to know I am not alone in my journey.

My family & myself thankyou all so very much.

Jaime

Jaime, please accept my family's condolances and prayers for you and your family.  As others have stated it sounds like you had a great relationship with your dad.
Take care.

Jaime, I am so sorry for your loss.  My deepest condolences to you and your family.  A bond between a father and son should be a special one.  You seem to have had that and I am happy for you for that.  God Bless.

From your words he sounds like he would have been a great person to sit next to at a game and get to know.  I'm sorry for his passing.

Jaime,

I dont know you personally but I see what you write and I find you to be one of the most accomodating and affable members of this board.  I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.   However, take comfort in the fact that your father must have been proud to know what his son grew up to be and that you carry on his legacy.

Dear Jaime-

Thank you for sharing such a personal and heart wrenching experience. I lost my father at the age of 66 (back in 1988), I was 26 at the time...and was responsible for his care while trying to raise a young family of my own. I loved him, and revered him in many ways...he was definitely the Patriarch of our family.

Last year, I lost my mother at the age of 84...and I've felt her loss like no other...but also relived my fathers loss all over again.

Now is the time to cherish and lean on your family/loved ones more than ever. If you're spiritual...that will also offer some relief. If you need a friend, I raise my hand. PM me if you want to talk and we'll trade numbers. I know how tough these times can be.

From my family to yours...and from me to you...thoughts, prayers, and much affection and comfort.

Take good care,
-Andrew

Big Joe was a huge NY Football Giants fan! Jaime and his family set up a section in the room with his football memorabilia, pictures, a beautiful floral arraignment of NYG Football in Blue and a plaque that Jerry Reese sent with priority to honor Big Joe as a True Blue Fan.

Jaime mentioned how touched he was by all the support you all gave him here in this very difficult time. He greatly appreciates this community and all his friends.
