they gave me "catscan fever"...... wah wah wah

"catscan fever , rer rer rer"...ok so i have had my 3 cartscans and in the interest of sharing info with my feloow poster im here to say these are nothing. drink some stuff that altho isnt the tastiest, no problem. you get a iv going and they run you through a big donut shaped machine. takes about 15 minutes for each one. worst part of all of it is the IV needle which is nothing.
 so im happy to report that if you get sent for catscans, theyre nothing.
 but I am happy too have them done.

not due back to the big "C" doc for  week and a half. unless they call me first so heres to no phone calls!

i got thru the bone marrow biopsy just fine so the cat scasn are the last test. im pretty sure ill hear back form the doc next week . like i said ive got no other RELATED symptoms for lymphoma and i have had a high white cell count for 4 years now. so it just seems that since nothing has really changed the odds are way in my favor that the lymphoma will be negative.
 then we can get back to trying to figger out a way to live with the scoliosis and fibromyalgia, also theres the little prob of the torn muscle in my shoulder thanks to betsy the wonderdawg.
 appreciate the thought ed but i think im out of the woods as far as the big 'C'.
 now im looking for the results so i can get my ticket to albany and eat alll kinds of food and beat on Drake and such.......

nope and its been a full week as of today that i had the last catscan. this is a good thing. if they found anything they would of called. so monday i get another blood te3st and weds i see the "c' doc. im gonna enjoy him pulling out his hair having to explain that there is a possibility i just have a high white cell count just to drive him crazy. now maybe they can finally fix the ripped muscle in my shoulder, the scoliosis that hurts like hell, and the fibromyalgia that makes everything hurt to the point that i have days where i just dont walk.
 so there is where im at.........kinda nowhere.

there are two reasons i put this up on the board. the first is that we all will have to have these tests at some point in our lives so why not share the expierience amongst the board. the second is that as much fun as i try to have, its scary stuff. for me personally , it just helps to talk about it. i really do think im going to pass the dreaded 'c" screening. this ,of course has nothing to do with the skeletal/muscular issues that have set in and are not fun at all. nothing like finding out, almopst on a daily basis, that things that you use to do and not even think about, you just cant do anymore. im thankful i have such good friends around here to help deal with all the b.s.
 theres a reason weve all been around the boards for 10 years plus!
