well just for you my friend it is now TROPICAL STORM DRAKE>>>>....er debbie...actually...and there goes my radio again , hang on..... coastal waters from bomita beach to englewood out 2o nautical miles...expect high winds and ............. ok so where were we...oh yeah so its raining, and its been raining and i guess its gonna be raining so if you have nothing better to do you can watch it rain and then its gonna rain some and then maybe tuesday it might just rain and then itll rain some more so i guess they say it might stop on weds. boy im glad i got another jar of peanut butter

I am not happy about this. . . this is the second weekend this month that my diving trip was cancelled because of weather.  Not saying Debbie did this one, but the timing is there.  Calm (1 foot seas, 60'+ viability) all week and now 3 - 5 foot seas and who knows the viz because no one went out. . .

noaa radio was going off all night. just went off like 2 minutes ago , theres a tornado right now in the southern part of charlotte county. have to admit i dont think the rain total here in port charlotte. but its stedy and here goes my radio again. englewood to tarpon springs strong winds , heavy seas and lots of lightning 30 miles south of venice inlet heading north by northeast.  welcome to the tropics!

 man, this sucks. tornados and trees down and crap all over the place and blah blah blah

so now we are getting these little cells coming thru with a land speed of 50 mph. packing god knows whatr sppeds. 2 trees came down across the street and down 3 houses that fortunately didnt hit their house but it took out theor power grid.
 canal is now up to my dock deck again and the dock next door to me and across the canal are actually underwater. all kinds of lumber floating up and down the canal so somebodys dock has come apart. wouldnt surprise me to see a unmanned boat go by.
 so far myy power has been ok but the cells keep knocking out the direct tv so i think im gonna putr in a dvd of saving private ryan in my blu ray that DRAKE got me for my birthday last year. THANKS DRAKE!
 try to get out to walk betsy the wonder dawg but i think i may have to wear my motorcycle helmet so i dont get knocked senseless. dawg doesnt care shes a b;ack lab and laughs at rain.
 summer in the tropics. ok so DEBBIE you can head north anytime now. glad im not a little north of here, tampa/st pete has had a foot of rain. fortunately, living on a tidal canal my neighborhood drains fast.

jeeze i dunno. probably. where i am we just have bands coming thru. anyone up on the panhandle MUST be getting hammered.  it is just as bad as some of the canes ive been thru. thing is this storm wont move so those folks in tampa/st pete are getting some bad as flooding. just a very very strange storm.
 im thankful that the power has stayed on, at least betsy the labrapiddle and i can watch the tv
