Very nice! I love New York City. Not a fan of getting into the city, but once I am there...
We always thought it would be a nightmare getting into NYC from Newark (we take the bus), but have been pleasantly surprised to find, year on year, that that is not the case. Even nose-to-tail traffic clogged up entering the Lincoln Tunnel seems to get in and out and dispersed, without too many problems. The bus to the game has been a pain in the backside on more than one occasion.
At rush hour it's a bit tough, but it's not as bad off hours. I pretty much have traveled into the city all the ways possible- car, bus, train, Path Train and Ferry Boat. Although I have read about guys using Kayaks to get in, so that would be the one way I missed
First year we went we took the train into Penn and we got a good look at housing, streets, buildings, etc. which, for me anyway, is part of the holiday. We changed to the bus because we started carrying more luggage, and it was a pain humping them all around. First bus company we used was Super Shuttle....... enough said. In recent years it has been the Express to GC, out the front door, on the bus, perfect. Continental charge for the second piece of luggage, so there's nothing to stop us taking the train again.
