the wonderful w to east windshear has left the southern atlantic so there is nothing in the way of this tropical storm. hi pressure to the west and east of florida leaves a very nice path of least resistance . just what i need , spend all day saturday bpoarding up. i will do the usual weeze thing and get a extra jar of peanut butter for the duration but lets hope it goes somewhere else like say, mexico. heck they need the rain anyway.

Cardosi showed me one model that has it pushing west into the Gulf to land in Texas/Louisiana, called the British model. He says its way too early for any models to be accurate enough beyong 3 days.

the 11 am update has it going a little farther west so its up the west coast of fla. now the bad news of that is itll follow charlie's path and come right in charlotte harbor. hopefully itll continue to track more and more to the west that ll put it over there in la and mississippi. not the i wish a cane on anyone but better there then over my house. fortunately i sold my boat yesterday so dint have to worry about that floating away to cuba.
 i hate canes, they make a mess and the power goes off and they just suck as a bunch of you nor'easterners found out last year. lets hope it dissapates or heads to texas or mexico.

I've been trying to find the exact post that led me to ask about his credentials but I can't find it.  Nor can I find drake's answer.  So, I can't remember what he said at the time.   But there is a post on this thread where drake quoted him as saying on the 22nd, "...its [sic] way too early for any models to be accurate enoug beyong[sic] 3 days."
