OL
« on: September 17, 2012, 09:19:38 AM »
I have been one of those who has been looking at other teams cuts for possible OL help  but I have to say that the OL line did a pretty good job yesterday of keeping Eli standing and giving him time to find his receivers--51 attempts and no sacks--Now I also know that a lot depends on the defensive scheme that the Bucs were playing but it is of note that the Bucs did have three sacks vs the Panthers. Just a post game thought as I am getting ready for Thursday night

Diehl was the weakest link.  His injury forced the coaches to put the two best (not good but the best the Giants have) OTs on the field

Typical TC ... everyone could see that Diehl was just too slow and unathletic to handle anything that Tampa threw at him.

In TCs world, if you are a veteran, you have your job for life (much like a Supreme Court appointment).  Only injury and no longer being on the team
will prevent you from keeping your job if you have performed well in the past.
