This one is for guys like Lenn and some of the others on the board.  For what I call the lost generation.

Thanks Bill. I know just how that gentleman feels.

The Viet Nam vets are the only men who fought for this country, and basically got booed for it. Never got the respect, the recognition or the support of their country. Even to this day, the Viet Nam vet has to fight for the respect all other men get who fight for their country.

I promise not to get started on this, because I do have a whole lot to say, but I forgot my soap box today so anyway, thanks for the great video.
I hate to include the word NASTY, but that is part of being a winning football team.

It is a sin, an absolute sin the way VN Vets were treated.

 Thanks for the support Jimbo.

As I said before, I really have plenty to say on this subject, but I get so angry that I really try to avoid it. It really is a crying shame. I go some where where they say military personnel get such and such. I tell them I am a Viet Nam veteran, what can I get, they tell me 'so what'.

Enough said for now.

To hear that is infuriating to me - I cannot imagine what it means for you to hear stuff like that.  I did not think that this was still the sentiment out there in this country.   I thought that by and large as a country we had rectified our past mistakes.

Whenever I see men or women in uniform I make a point to acknowledge them and thank them for what they do.  This country owes a debt of gratitude to you - please try to keep your chin up and understand that there too many of us that appreciate what you've done to let a few pricks denigrate your service.
