I'm in the process of re-watching the Series from a fresh perspective.  So far, I've watched the first four games in order.  Of course I have yet to reach the BIG one - Game 6.

One thing that has really impressed me is how much better the announcers were 30 years ago than they are today.  Vince Scully & Joe Garagiola covered the Series.  They both kept completely to the game while still adding tid-bits along the way; Garagiola speaking from a players perspective & Scully calling everything accurately with verve.  Nowadays all we get is constant yak-yak-yak from (generally) three guys in the booth with much of the conversation about things NOT involved in the game.  How refreshing to listen to two Pros doing it.
