Refs definitely put the whistles away late.
With our backs against the wall, we come out and play a heck of a game.
Best two out of three. Both teams have won on the road.
Bunch gets the nod. 4th Line is a difference maker. McDoughna & Skjei were superb. Smith is one tough dude. Hank brings it again! =D>

Rangers played with fire tonight. Refs were even worse than they normally are missing trips, crosschecks, speerings, slashes etc etc. Wish our coach would explode when this happens so the refs know that he's at least watching them and is interested. Montreal back with home ice so we have them where we want them.

The worst was Ott's horse kick towards Zucc while he was going to the bench.  He should be suspended.

The refs let a lot go, and Montreal took advantage of that more than the Rangers. Much more. My solution of having players on your team that know how to box quickly would put an end to that crap. Take Ott the tough guy. Challenge him after what he did or tried to do to Zucc, and bust him up badly. It ends right there. If not bust someone else up.

As soon as Staal takes possession of the puck I'm yelling just get it out, but no he holds on and they scored. Montreal is a dirty hockey team. McDonagh was pushed into an oncoming Canadian. WTF was Ott doing to HK? The Habs were two feet offsides before the penalty was called on Hayes. It's one thing to let physical stuff go but offsides. Kreider hasn't shown up, have him start 200 feet away and skate full bore into Price. Shut those a$$z up in the stands. Can you tell I'm pissed? I wish I was out there on the ice. Guaranteed there would be a shish-ka-Hab. Calm down Alan(to myself), we're only down a goal. This is what 50 years being a fan can do.

Not only did Staal turn the puck over, but he lost his check behind the net and let the Canadian score by stuffing it in on Hank. Several  dangerous penalties by the Canadiens were  let go by the refs.
Smith is one tough Dude.

Lindberg was defenseless when Shaw hit him and Shaw knew it and lined him up. Should have been interference. Great hit on a Hab into the boards ending the 2nd. Wish I was out there, I'd fire the puck high directly at the Habs as they look to block shots. I keep apologizing to my kids for YELLING. I'm a little

Great game.  Have to take care of business on Saturday Night.  Just like in 2014 take care of them in six.

Unlike game 2 totally dominated OT tonight and just missed scoring on a couple of other chances by kreids and zucc. Outshot Montreal 10-3 in OT and Montreal was totally gassed. I thinks this loss takes the starch out of them and gives us a lot of confidence to finish this off saturday night with 8pm gametime. Will be watching replay of that OT goal all night. Really like the Zib, Kreids and buch line.

Interesting hearing AV respond in French during post game presser. He makes more sense speaking French. =)) Bunch returned to level of play he had going early before back issues. So why didn't he start game one? AV always has a problem handling young Talent. I imagine this series would already be over if we had even an average power play?
Without a doubt, Krides  is the most difficult Ranger to comprehend. This series is a perfect example of why Stephan disappears. He doesn't have the speed to make plays and he doesn't have the physicality to make plays. His skill-set just totally disappears.
I know I pick on Girardi, who doesn't (?),  but he has been putting his best game on the ice every night no complaints with him. McDonough has been a wrecking machine out there. Just dynamite play in all three zones from our Captain. Brady Skeji just keeps getting better. Nash is really making a difference out there. He takes a beating going to the net but that's what we sorely need.
Hayes on fire on the Dot. Hank brings his A-game for the fifth night in a row, just amazing.
Fast not only is making plays and scoring goals. But the licks he's laying on the Habs are incredible given his diminutive physique. What a player! everything should be done to keep him on this roster indefinitely. Smith living up to Rep of a grittu player, then some. He's a keeper.

Post-game analysis indicates that the Rangers are having success attacking Montreal along their Goal Line. Price is a stand-up goalie that can't handle the puck down low at that angle in tight. Our puck carrier coming in on the Goal Line shoots the puck low off of Price's pads. Actually deflecting it on purpose to a Ranger on the far side that's open. Check it out.
