Rangers sure look like they were playing possum the last couple months. Just a slugfest over a hundred registered hits. I eat my words with Hank, he looked fantastic. A real team defensive effort. Friday night it's going to be a battle royale. The Habs know they can't go down 0 - 2 and expect a realistic chance at winning the series.

It makes watching game two much less stressful.  A playoff ready team showed up tonight.  Hopefully they can keep it going for the rest of the series.

Holden better watch his clearing passes. Hab pressure was maintained due to puck mishandling. Mistakes led to several episodes of pressure. Must, must ,must clean that up. In my Rangerworld Markov's spear of Nash would be met by a beating so bad that he is out for the series. Too bad they don't have anyone with real boxing skills. Jab, right, goodnight. Not enough third period offensive pressure by the Rangers. I know it's early in the real season, but I still don't know what we have in this Ranger team.

I thought Holden had a terrible game. I wouldn't be surprised if he sits for Klein tomorrow.

He should be sitting next game for that nonsense.  If Marchand got two games at the end of the year for his spear to the groin than Markov deserves at least one.  Only Crosby is allowed to get away with that.   /sarcasm/

Ratz!!!
We were spent. Go home and regroup. The question is, can we win on home ice?

Demoralyzing loss giving up tieing goal with 17 seconds left. One question for our coach why in hell is holden who has been miserable for 2 games and was on ice for all 3 regulation goals in the game in the final minute.

If he's not sitting for Klein in game three I will be very angry.  Shouldn't of been out there at the end of the game.  Even looks like he deflected the tying goal into the net while on his knees trying to play goalie.

Big mistake not getting Hank a new stick when he broke his. It contributed to the goal being scored. All they had to do was Ice the puck, but apparently the place for so loud they didn't know Hank broke his stick?
Yeah, sucks with 17 seconds left. Some solace foing foward, Price got beat clean for all three goals. Hank's goals were sort of fluky . He never got beat clean.

Of course the following means nothing, but after last night's game I came away with a confident feeling about this Ranger team. I'm not sure if the Habs can play any better than they did last night, I am sure that the Rangers can because I've seen it. Can't stand the Hab fans. Any time a Hab falls down they moan/cry and want a penalty as if the fallen player was shot. They feel entitled, and it's all b.s. I'll say it again the Rangers need to play with hate. They won't because the league just doesn't play that way anymore, and AV is in line. I'd like to see Gallagher become one of the board advertisements.

In addition please explain how the Rangers became short handed after the Ott run on Zucc and subsequent muti-player waltzing.

That would be explained as a "Homer"call.  ~X(

Montreal are notorious for getting homer calls.

The amount their fans were yapping for a call in GM2 was embarrassing. I hope the Garden faithful repay the compliment tonight.

Actually, I don't. The PP is woeful
