He is one of the most remarkable physical specimens in the NFL with an unbelievable work ethic and skillset.  That said, the NFL is a game where physical health is important and has he simply worn down his body to the point where he would not regularly play and contribute?  Not sure.

I doubt it, but if they decide to sign him it would have to be an incentive laden contract. He's not going to get a huge payday.

Fix the line before you even talk about getting  a RB

Sounds like putting a Band Aid on a severe knife wound to me.

I don't think our problem is the RB but rather the blocking and thats what needs to be addressed, will Peterson be successful behind the O line we have, I don't think so...

Larry Csonka 2.0?  No thanks.
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist

Plenty of RB depth in this year's draft.  Pick one in the later rounds to pair with Perkins and we are good to go.

Sure why not?  He would be an excellent tandem with Paul Perkins giving them the balance between north/south (thunder) and an east/west (lightning). The Giants are in a "win now" scenario.

Pass, the team that signs Peterson is paying for past rather than future performance

I have yet to see any article that shows the Giants have any interest in him.  Peterson can bat his eyes at us and hike up his skirt - but I hope we don't bite.

you're right about this, and I think  its true for the most part with most of the free agents who are at or looking at 30 years of age, not all but most..
