It was reported that the Giants wanted to bring him back for depth after a nice season last year with the Giants

Secondary gets a boost with the addition of Coty Sensabaugh.

The Steelers added depth at cornerback with the signing of free agent Coty Sensabaugh.

Sensabaugh was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth-round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He saw immediate action his rookie season, playing in all 16 games on special teams and in the nickel defense.

Sensabaugh played four seasons in Tennessee, playing in 59 total games. He tallied 169 tackles, one sack, 23 passes defensed, and two interceptions with the Titans. He had a career-best 60 tackles in 2015, when he also added eight passes defensed and both interceptions.

The 2016 season was interesting for Sensabaugh, who signed a three-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams in the offseason as a free agent. He played in three games, with 10 tackles, before being released by the Rams after Week 4. Sensabaugh was signed by the New York Giants three days after he was waived, playing in 10 games, including against the Rams in London a few weeks after being waived.

In his five seasons, Sensabaugh has played in 72 games with 194 tackles, one sack, 23 passes defensed, and two interceptions.

I thought he played well enough to bring him back. Apparently so did the Steelers. This is why I believe we take a Corner in the mid rounds, how could we not? This draft is so deep in Corners.

He was a serviceable backup and did a journeyman's job when called upon. However, the Giants' defensive success last season was not contingent on him. There will be players who can fill his spot as cuts are made and the draft is played out. We will survive.

I didn't see any details on the contract. Wondering what a guy like Sensabough fetches  on the open market these days?

Hopefully it's for lots and lots of money.  Maybe we can get a comp pick for him.

Can you get comp picks for FA players lost that were not originally signed as rookies?
