Ryan Glasgow: Mid-round DT prospect to replace Hankins
« on: April 20, 2017, 02:20:26 AM »
I noticed this guy while watching tape on Taco Charlton... he shows very good strength, agility and recognition skills... Here are a couple of clips on him:

He is generally considered as a 4th to  5th round pick by the draft sites, but I believe he is better than that... he certainly will be a great 4th round pick... I personally don't mind investing a 3rd, considering the need at the position.

Here is my choice: a three year starter, and a very strong and high moral quality guy:

DeAngelo Brown:

He is a very good player.   Although must projections I have seen have him going in the first round or maybe dropping to the top of the second round

That is funny Drake... De Angelo Brown is my other Sleeper type DT... he is rated lower than Glascow... probably will go in the 5th, but he shows quick penetration and strength.

Are you sure Mighty?
Where have you seen him ranked that high?

2 out of the 4 latest drafts have him going in the first round

Here you will see Rob Rang likes him so much he has him mocked TWICE in the first round

It is not that big a deal, but it would be nice if you put the guy's name somewhere in the post or subject line so we knew who you were talking about without having to click on a video, first.

So, I'm interested in opinions. How much did Wormley, Glascow and Charleton, affect each other and are each overvalued because of the quality of personnel around them?

I wasn't talking about Taco Mighty... his teammate Glasgow is my mid-round target.

Very good question Bama... if you watch the films, Glasgow gets double-teamed a lot, that may have helped the other two, imo.

Just as the other guys I had in my under-rated list, Glasgow seems to be moving up some draft media's boards now...

If the Giants miss out on some of the other DTs, I would be good with Glasgow in the 4th.

Great post XNYrnLA, he's my mid round sleeper.  I think he'll make us forget about big Hank by mid season.    :nanner:
