Big Blue Huddle / College Transfer Portal
Last post by dasher - Today at 04:15:21 PM
Just a fun fact. Ourlads has narratives on the top 13 QB's in this year's draft.
10 of them got to their current school by way of the portal. The only three who stayed at their original school are Drake Maye, J J McCarthy and Michael Pratt.
Means nothing, perhaps, but interesting never the less.

I chose Maye.  On a side note, should this scenario play out it would mean one, maybe two surprises in the first five selections

Got to be a QB. And I trust that whatever QB they choose, they are confident enough to feel he can be a franchise QB. Much much easier to find a receiver than a QB.

The funniest part is that the aggregate is a 43% hit rate.  All these fans will get excited about players their teams draft in round one, yet they have chances lower than a single coin flip that the player will succeed.

Quote from: jimc on Today at 03:51:59 PMI think what was interesting was him saying that they have 15 guys as first round material.  That tells me he would not want to move back beyond 15 because he would feel that he was getting second round goods.

Sometimes you can risk going a little lower as different teams have different games, but your point is excellent

Yes WR salaries will continue to go up.  I think that's why the Chiefs and Packers traded away all-pro guys a couple of years ago.

Sorry Ric I have not. As most know I have had 4 surgeries for melanoma and just had another 'suspicious'mole taken off the top of my head for a biopsy. Thank God it was benign but it is still scary stuff. Seems everytime I go to the dermatologist I am getting something removed. That's I go every 3 months. I also go for an eye exam every year as I have told that behind the eyeball is a site melanoma can form.
I think your case is different Ric and I wish you well at it. I personally don't understand why the dermatologist doesn't want to do a test beforehand.
Again I'm sure everything will be fine.
