Big Blue Huddle

I don't remember last time we had a game where the stadium seemed so alive!  I could feel it from the couch last night!!  We usually suck in big prime time games!

The players have bought in! 🤌🏻🤌🏻

We went from Dabs lost the team and tankarhon is on to 1 game out of the playoffs.

Seems to be an energy and resurgence within the organization.  The players are rallying around a home grown Italian from Jersey.

We are also seeing young draft picks step up.

Hyatt playing well.  Schmitz having a good rookie season.

Dale Robinson had a monster game last night!

Thibs 12 sacks and youngest Giant to ever get to 12 if I saw the stat line right.  I gave him some crap early this season and he has turned it up as the weeks have gone on.

Baker really developing at CB!

Young players stepping up in a season that looked lost.  They aren't giving up!  Dab's has this team believing even if the record it's positive.

I was starting to look toward the draft and figured our season over.

After last nights win couldn't sleep was so excited by the game, the intense ending and seeing that JS and his team are building something!  Will just take time.  It's only year 2 of JS rebuild in a year with a tough schedule and more injuries the you would hope for.

Enjoy the win Gentlemen and Gentlewomen (sorry didn't mean to exclude our lovely ladies)!  It was an exciting game and we have a week to relish it!

On to the Saints and game that is within reach if we play well.

Father tried out for the Giants but Parcells wouldn't sign him cause he couldn't eat peanuts off the top of his head!

Per the article Evans wants a long term deal.

He is 30 but production is still high.

I don't think a deal like this materializes the first few weeks of the season, BUT....

If the Giants are in the mix at the trade deadline and JS can negotiate another steal, could a trade for a #1 type WR make sense?

What type of Long Term deal makes sense for Evans 2-3 years?  At 33!!! I don't think we sink big money into a WR at that age!

We will have over 60 mill next year and a healthy dead cap for once! 9th most in the NFL.

Idk is Evans is the right guy, but...... is JS a buyer at the trade deadline if we are playoff bound or does he stay put?

Will be interesting to see.

So is this what separates good teams from great?  When you guy comes off the bench to rest a starters legs or to come in as an extra player on special packages and BANG, they pop a play and make something happen and there is little to no drop off from they player they are replacing.

That is what we are STARTING to see on this Giants roster!

I think we have that developing with the DBs.

We seem to have that on the DLine!

LB and OLINE is that spot we don't seem to have that!

I'm excited to see these rookies, 2nd year players develop and see how vets take to the 2nd year playing in the same system.

This was a surprise:

Shane Lemieux: Lemieux quietly had himself his best camp, finishing as the offensive line's best pass blocker (zero pressures allowed). If he can stay healthy, he'll give the Giants peace of mind as a backup interior lineman who can man either guard spot or the center position.

Marcus McKethan: McKethan, who began camp on the PUP list, is being groomed to provide snaps at guard and tackle, similar to the role that Tyre Phillips was supposed to be able to do. And there is a lot of promise there. In just 20 pass-block snaps (all at right guard), McKethan pitched a shutout, allowing no pressures.


Are we as fans maybe more concerned that the coaches as they are seeing these guys bloom and develop???

Was texting with Dumpster and his grandsons and Dumpster always diving for info said he "heard rumors Giants and Lions were talking trade for Okwara.

After this season and going into the 2024 off season the Giants could have 99 MILLION in Cap Space (not counting or figuring extensions or long term signings between now and then)

They will have 45 players under contract and 7 draft picks.

JS has done an amazing job revamping this cap space and roster!
