Title: 1964 -- The Start of the Giants' Dark Ages
Post by: Giant Obsession on August 28, 2012, 06:57:14 PM
This is a great piece from Sports Illustrated which will give the reader a great insight in hindsight as to what happened after such a great run of teams from 1956-1963.

Although very young, I lived through those years and it actually strengthens your resolve and character as a TRUE fan of a team.

Enjoy...............

THANKS, Giant Obs!  But, it brings b ack VERY painful memories.  Allie destyroyed the Giants.  He had the absolute worst season I can remember; 1966!  UGH!!!! ~X(  I don't want to relive those seasons.

I'm not so sure not having Beiicheck was a bad thing.  If you remember, he was a total flop with the Browns & went back to being the Tuna's DC with the Jets.
