At the owners meeting Dabs said they are still discussing if he will be calling the plays. He said he's done some research and said about 20 head coaches call plays. He made his name on being the play caller in Buffalo. Curious how Kafka feels about it.

The broadcast maps are not announced until Wednesday but I can assure you that the Giants game will not be shown in the northeast. The Giants game is a CBS broadcast this week as well as the Patriots who play Miami at the same time. Looks like I'll have to use Dofu and hope the nfl won't shut down too many sites.

I have a question about a VPN. I don't know anything about them but it looks like you can tell devices that you are located somewhere other than where you really are. So. If I live in maine and my local fox station will show Chiefs v Seattle will a VPN allow me to tell my service provider I am located somewhere in ny where the local fox will show the Giants.

I graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1966. The school was created when 8 towns consolidated into 1 large school in 1961. That consolidation created one of the largest school systems in the state.

Every year the team that wins the state championship in football is awarded THE GOLD BALL
 In those previous 60 years my school has never won one. We have played in 2 but were never victorious. Yesterday that changed. Oxford Hills defeated the defending 3 time state champion Thornton Academy 21 - 7. So today this is in the school trophy case. Congratulations to the young men who finally brought one of these home.

Giants in Maine!

There is a bill being proposed in Congress that would make daylight savings time become a permanent thing. No more turning the clock. Just wondering if you guys have any thoughts on this. Personally I am all for it. It's easy for me to choose that because I live in Maine and it sucks when it gets dark at 4 o'clock. It means that for most working people here all their free time is in the dark. It would be nice to have that extra hour of daylight.

Want to give a shout out to my nephew and his friends for winning the Cal Ripkin World Series for U12. The same thing as the Little League World Series. They defeated teams from Maine, Virginia, California, Indiana, Kentucky and Massachusetts to win the whole thing. Not bad for a group of kids from a few small towns in western Maine.

A devastating flood of the Yellowstone River has caused a disaster for the National Park and several towns in the surrounding area. It is possible that the park will be closed for the rest of the year due to so much road and bridge destruction. This will be devastating to the residents of those communities and dash the dreams of thousands of tourists that will not be able to go to their Yellowstone vacation.

Prayers for the residents of those towns and special prayers to the staff we hung out with at the Antler Pub in Gardiner Montana last year.
