If we don't go QB, and Nabers/Harrison Jr/Odunze is on the board, we take one of them. Anything else is a head scratcher. I'd want Nabers but Odunze is far from being a consolation prize; I see him like a Mike Evans type.

When you consider the timing,it almost seems like he waited until he knew a job with the Giants was off the table.I would think that most would be willing to accept that just because he doesn't have the physical ability to do himself, doesn't mean he isn't knowledgeable.

It would not hurt to ask him to come up for a tryout. He was so rich from endorsements he probably would have laughed at our asking. not now. Its just an out of the box thought
People laughed when the Cowboys brought in Bob Hayes. After a few games the laughter died down
I believe he and Homer are in the HOF. Both were Olympic sprint champions
Speed Kills. No joke

This 'rap thing' is overblown in my opinion.
That doesn't make much sense to me.
Quote from: EDjohnst1981 on October 27, 2022, 01:10:34 PMI chose disapprove and it looks like I'm in the minority, when looking at the other thread.Yeah he went off that one time, but that doesn't mean a thing. Ramses Barden had a 9 catch 138yd game and how did he turn out?
We've all loved the job the coaching this regime has done. I don't believe they couldn't have gotten the best out of him and found a place for him.
In limited performances (was it Dallas last year) he went off for nearly 200 yards. Those blokes don't grow on trees.
The guy has been injured, any other claims about a lack of interest is just pure speculation and should be viewed as such until there's evidence there's a modicum of truth it in.
The guy, in my view, had a near unique skill set for this team.
Wide receivers are either run off the mill like Shep and Slayton or complete headaches like Toney/OBJ and countless others.
I'd work with the headache and extract his skills. That's what a top coach would do.
This isn't a knock on anyone in particular, I'm elated with our progress but I just think in 3 years time, we will look back on this and feel we've had our pants pulled down and been bent over.
I'd also wager a bet that within 3 years he contributes to a superbowl winning team and makes at least one pro bowl (now I'm speculating). But I do think he's immensely talented player and I would have stayed the course unless the puck was in the top 40/50.
