The Front Porch / Re: Re: Good (or bad) Movies PART 2

Sully was a good flick. I recommend "The Lion"-we really enjoyed it. We also saw La La Land-a musical but not like old time musicals. The music and dancing was very enjoyable.

This trade is mind boggling. I cannot understand what prompted Mariners to make it. It reminds me of the Kansas City/Yankee underground railroad of years gone by..

Todge-Jackson is taller-5'10" and weighs 175. JJ is 5' 8" and weighs 181. Pretty much a tie insofar  as size is concerned.

The Sun Belt conference isn't exactly the NFC. I guess I'll wait and see.

From 2010 roster at USF web site:

57    Williams, Jacquian  LB  6-3  216  Sr.  Tampa, FL (Fort Scott CC) (Riverview HS)

I read somewhere that...

" Williams is 6-1 and 216. That is not a typographical error. He weighs 216 pounds. The Giants have safeties who weigh more than he does."

Another project? Strikes me as a reach.

I'm mystified. I guess our OL and linebacker situation is not a problem. /??? /??? /???

jimv-Lenn is a mere youth compared to you. I don't know how many of us were born in the 30's, but I am another one. However, I am three years younger than you are. How many 70 somethings are out there?

In the NFL, is a roughing the kicker penalty assesssed from the point of contact or from the line of scrimmage? Also, is the assessment point the same in college football?  /??? /???
