Quote from: AZGiantFan on Today at 02:42:54 PMI wonder what the corresponding grades for our receiving corps are.
Quote from: DaveBrown74 on Today at 02:33:18 PMSo we were the 30th last year? Maybe I'm not remembering right, but I had thought the claim made by some here was that the line began to suddenly play much better once Jones went down, allowing the journeyman backup and undrafted rookie third string QB to perform better than Jones did.
If it was indeed the case that Tyrod and DeVito enjoyed better O line play than Jones, how did the line still ultimately only finish 3rd from the bottom of the league?
Quote from: DaveBrown74 on Today at 02:28:31 PMEven though Minny can give a lot more than the Giants for the Pats, Vikes, or Chargers to move down, the one thing they can't give is the 6th pick in this year's draft. A team like the Cards may have their hearts set on getting one of the big three receivers. If they love two of them roughly equally, it makes sense to trade with the Giants. I'm not saying this will happen, but it's one way it could.
Quote from: Jclayton92 on Today at 02:14:04 PMIf we draft a Wr how is that wr going to transform our offense?
If Slayton and Hyatt got under utilized, why wouldn't this new Wr?
The weapons do not matter if you don't have someone to get them the ball. Whether that's Lock or Jones, any skill that comes in will be under served until the Qb changes.
Slayton caught 50 balls as a #1
Hyatt caught 23
Robinson caught 60
I just don't see any skill producing like people would want them to until someone is brought in to throw down the field.
Quote from: londonblue on Today at 12:12:59 PMI thought that as well but their beat guys (including Allbright who is wired in with them) all think Sean Payton is in deep man love with JJ McCarthy. Smoke season of course.
Quote from: londonblue on Today at 12:19:13 PMFirst time round Wellman introduced elements of yoga and the non-martial arts (tai-chi specifically). I suspect his return will see shifts towards more flexibility, bodyweight, resistance and high intensity work to complement traditional lifting more in line with developing trends in other sports. It will be worth watching.
Quote from: londonblue on Today at 12:02:11 PMA completely dispassionate assessment is Minnesota will win any bidding war to trade up. It might be to 3 but Denver are said to be prepared to sell the farm to move up. I do not see Schoen getting into a bidding war so I have us as most likely to go WR at 6 but more likely to trade down than up. We will find out in 6.5 days!
