Big Blue Huddle / 49er game
September 20, 2023, 03:11:12 AM
I'm excited to go to the game with some 49er fans I work with. Honestly, we have little chance -but hey- any given Sunday.
On offense I'd like to see Hyatt, Slayton, and Waller be the regular targets. Campbell has not done much in multiple targets and Hodgins has had but a few key catches. We can't let Bosa destroy the line like Parsons did. Hopefully Bellinger and Peart give some help to Neal. If the line plays like last week,  Waller and Hyatt can put up some big numbers to keep us in the game.
On D,Dexy and Thibs need to cause some havoc. The real key will be Okereke and Simmons containing McCaffrey.  Our corners have been holding up well so far.
Hopefully our Giants can make us proud and put up a good fight.

Big Blue Huddle / 4th quarter
October 30, 2022, 11:21:46 PM
Every offseason, my hope is to work on the o line. This years been the best in a long, long time. No doubt, the WRs are currently the biggest deficiency.  However,  the last 7 games we wore opponents down. We had the best rushing yards per game in the league.  We won the time of possession battle.
That all got annihilated today.  We were missing Neal, Brederson, and Bellinger.  We did not committ to the run early. In a loud away game, losing the TOP battle, not winning in the trenches, we could  not takeover the 4th quarter.
Sure Jame's fumbles killed us. Sure the receivers are aweful. But we need the o line to be bullies, control the line of scrimmage, and win  TOP to push ahead at the finish line
