Tough to win games when you get down 2 scores in the 1st half almost every week.

I think moves (the OL signings for example) point to more of an emphasis of the passing game.

Ultimately I think Kafka and Daboll want to run some blend of what they were part of in their previous roles.  I think they are going to try to play that style but with attention to the personnel and knowing they dont have Mahomes or Allen.

Whether or not its successful or they can really open up the play book is to be determined.

This is why my first guess for the 1st round is a WR.

For some reason, I thought his scheme was generally zone heavy.

I think the Vikings are drafting Penix

I found one that included that

Interesting this one shows his 10 yard split as what's listed on NFL.com, the other one had him at 1.58

Big Blue Huddle / Re: Top QB Rankings Roundup

Heard a stat about sacks taken per blitz attempts.  For example Patrick Mahomes was sacked once for every 22 times he was blitzed last year.  For CJ Stroud it around once every 13 blitzes.   Here is where this class stacks up

This is listed by a sack per the amount of times blitzed:

Jayden Daniels  2.4
Spencer Rattler 2.7
Caleb Williams  3
Drake Maye      3.2
JJ McCarthy     3.5
Bo Nix          5
Penix           12

Going to be a rough rookie year for these guys.

Guessing this is a 1-down type player.  Really thought the run defense had more issues toward the outside than the middle last year though

What a crazy life he had.  One of the greatest RBs of all-time and then moved into acting.

I think everyone who was around for it remembers watching the white Bronco.

And it was all down hill after that.

I wish their headaches were about draft busts instead of how they are going to sign guys that were All-pro as rookies

Seems like a concerted effort to improve special teams this offseason.

Surprised.

Well they aren't going to say "We'll move out of the #4 spot for a 3rd and conditional 7th rounder".

Lombardi doesn't know who the Giants are targetting.

Quote from: MightyGiants on April 10, 2024, 09:52:11 AMIf memory serves, Allen has been slowed down many due to injury issues

2020 he was out significant time. In the following two years his sack totals were 7.5 and 7.
