The Texas marijuana laws are "antiquated" at best. Interestingly, one can posses up to TWO OUNCES of flower and it's a minor misdemeanor. If one has a concentrate (vape pen) or gummy, it is a felony regardless of the amount. Even 2-4 ounces of flower is still a misdemeanor. So, he very well could have had a very small amount on him and still be charged with a felony.

Ceri, incredible work, as always, on your draft analysis. I will disclose up front that I am very biased with regard to this topic but I have one question: I realize this draft is a RB heavy class but why have you largely overlooked Khalid Abdullah from JMU?  He had an amazing college career (until this year splitting carries) and is the kind of versatile RB that could thrive in the Giants offense. I'm not suggesting we would draft Khalid early, but in round 7 or as a preferred FA he could be gem. He is a stellar person off the field- and the Giants had him in for a visit.

BBH Baseball Board / Re: NFT--YANKEES BASEBALL TALK

It has been an honor and a privilege to watch Derek Jeter throughout his career. I feel lucky to have been able to watch the full career of a true Yankee legend. Jeter has been a true professional on and off the field and, a rarity in this day and age, he has embraced his responsibility as a role model. Watching Derek in his final season will be very emotional for me- I have the feeling he will make it a very special year.

Badger, I think that was exactly what Rambo was saying- the Yankees got a lot of value for an unproven prospects.

May be another BPA strategy.  For what it's worth, Gosselin had him ranked 26 on his board.  I know there are character issues, but if that's the case it could be another steal.

On many levels, the Cowboy game was OUR Super Bowl!  It has been very sweet, indeed, being a Giant fan in D/FW the last few weeks.

1)  What part of the Country do you live in?

I live in Southlake, TX a suburb of Dallas/ Fort Worth.

2)  How long have you been a Giants fan?

My whole life (44 yrs), other than a brief romance with the Vikings after Tarkenton got traded and Big Blue couldn't get out of their own way!

3)  What do you do for a living?

I am a consultant to automobile dealerships.

4) Anything else you would like to mention about yourself?

I have a great wife and a son who will be 11 soon.  I am very proud of of him on a number of fronts, but for our purposes he is big Giants fan in the middle of Cowboy country.  He sticks to his guns even though he has put up with a lot of crap!
