Big Blue Huddle / NGT: Joka now has a chip
February 17, 2023, 10:49:20 AM
Now KT will be even more obnoxious and this trade situation will be looked at with huge scrutiny.

We could have paid him that to stay a Giant, but he turned down any and all pay cuts or restructure.

He just didn't want to be a Giant.

Big Blue Huddle / The surprise of the Giants season
January 09, 2023, 08:54:42 AM
Kenny Golliday scored an actual TD :surprise:  :surprise:  :surprise:

1 TD in 2 years...well...maybe he will prove more against the Vikes.

I'm going with both as they are playing at positions of need and will strengthen the DL and corner.

We can then concentrate on the OL, and skill players at the offensive side of the ball and maybe grab a LB or edge if need be.

That team i a total mess but do you think SP could reinvent RW and lead that team back to glory?

How many and how bad is unclear, but the fact he isn't event practicing let's you know that accident must have been pretty severe.

I think they just need to shut him down for the year.

Think we move on from Big Cat with the emergence of Sexy Dexy and Thibs?

Can we find similar production cheaper and younger?

Big Blue Huddle / Riddle me this....

How are the 7-2 Giants (2nd in our division) still ranked #9 in Power Rankings yet...

The 6-3 Cowboys (third in our division) are ranked 8th
The 5-4 Niners are ranked 7th
The 6-3 Ravens (who we beat) are ranked 6th

These power rankings are mostly about personal biases or opinion than anything tangible.

The disrespect for the Giants is affluent.

Big Blue Huddle / Do you see Shep coming back next year?
November 08, 2022, 03:27:44 PM
Culture wise...I see it.

Production wise...I don't see it. But Shep is such a competitor and fan favorite, I see him making it at least through camp.

Financially wise...toss up but I'm going with "don't see it" here too.  Shep would be taking a prove it deal and the number would be low.

The New York Giants dealt wide receiver Kadarius Toney to the Kansas City Chiefs prior to the NFL trade deadline and then remained relatively silent at the deadline.

Calls were made, but ultimately, general manager Joe Schoen and the Giants stood pat.

But not all of those calls were outgoing. Schoen acknowledged during his bye week press conference on Tuesday that at least one call was inbound. And it was rebuffed because the target was a "good player."

"We got a call on one player on Monday. It was a hard 'no.' I'm not going to say which player. It was a good player," Schoen told reporters.

Based on our roster, that list is rather small.

Barkley
McKinney
Lawrence
Gano
Thomas
Williams

I'm thinking either Lawrence, McKinney or Barkley. Your thoughts?
