files & Steve, spot on!
Staal & Clowe injuries took away what little depth we had.
Thinking Clowe would have been the answer to Lucic and Thorton last night?

I recall Scott vividly. When what's his name (?), Proved to be nothing more than a human punching bag, that's where Scott could have stepped in and handled our enforcer role.

Arron Curry gets the fertilizer award for that quote.
I'm holding my breath (as I'm sure you are too) Re: Hyno's knee injury...

Good job Pat T.
Anything noticeable with Rooks G Herman & S Taylor?

Nash back to his MIA routine.
Rask has been a little shaky, we just somehow gave to get the puck on net. Bruins obviously a deeper team, they just keep coming.
Bring up J.T. Miller. Make Richards a healthy scratch.

Brassard clearly our number one center. He's made some nice place when given some opportunity to do so. Stephan is invisible tonight.

If we don't come out with more fire in the second period, it's curtains. Hank bailed us out on two breakaways, that can't continue. :boooo:

Just heard that Brassard will be on the point for our illustrious power play tonight. Explanation is Torts wants the best playmaker on the ice more.
All well and good, but if you don't get traffic in front of the goalie, we're in for more of the same…

Ram, you make it sound like I have a man crush on Moore, Not the case, although he is a very handsome young man. I just like his command of the puck on the Point.

Paint, it should be no surprise to you that I throw in with todge here. I've been a fan of Brewer since day one, and I believe RT is his position to lose from the get-go this season.
I'll toss this one out for everybody to chew on. I believe that Boothe has more to worry about than Brewer. And I don't think Baas is a given either. If Baas continues to be nicked up on a regular basis, look for Pugh to replace him. I read a report that said Pough's most natural position is C, a position which also utilizes his exceptional football IQ. It just may come down to, is Boothe a better G then Baas is a C?
Loser rides the Pine. As for Snee, he'll start till he retires. TC 's daughter & grandchildren have to eat...

I'm stoked to c Hyno open holes for our new feature RB Wilson.
A highly rated FB & RB in their prime, oh baby!

« on: May 20, 2013, 04:35:50 PM »
I think Mayock was tipped off. His abrupt change of position would indicate to me that's likely what happened. Given Beatty remains healthy (?), u can plug Pugh in @ any of the four remaining OL positions, he has the skill set to do so. Pugh played LT in the Sr. Bowl cs. Elite DE comp. he acquitted himself well.
Pugh is that flexible. His high Football IQ, makes him a natural for C. If Brewer can handle RT (?) than Pugh can upgrade G, then upgrade C in 2014...

Hard to believe the Scouts were talking about the same Player? I've heard the same comments, both positive & negative. Gotta think JR & Co. Have dah skinney that isn't so widely known to others. The proof is the playing, so let's get it on!

I thought John Moore looked good on the Point. He moved the puck well & shot the puck decisively. Why isn't he still on the Point? Isn't about time we move past Richards being involved in any capacity on the PP @ all?
Thinking a PP unit consisting of Moore & Del Zotto on the Blue Line. With Cally, Boyle & Brassard up front. Boyle's SOP is to stand in front of the Goalie & wreek havoc. The off Winger cheats in when the D contends with Boyle. The three remaing move the Puck until someone has a one-timer between the Dots. The two down low tip the shot, or pounce on the rebound.
My two cents...
