I have to disagree with him on Marv Levy.    Ya I know, 4 super bowls in a row is a great accomplishment.   But I have always felt that the Bills did this not because of Levy but  in spite of Levy.   They were so talented and at that time the AFC was not that strong of a conference.   If the Bills had a better hc I think there was a good chance they would have beat the Giants in XXV.

Rich, most of the time I give players, especially younger ones, the benefit of the doubt. But explanations like the one you posted don't jibe with me. The little film I have seen on this guy is not very impressive. He is a big LB by todays standards and seems to lack quickness, instinct and seemed very stiff on the field. I don't know what the scouts saw in him or if he was a different player in the college ranks. I hope my evaluation is completely wrong.

Sounds like humble pie on Curry's behalf.

So far Curry has said that the pressure on him was too great, and then he was homesick, and now that he just didnt want it bad enough and that it was the fault of a balanced approach.  Any chance we can get him to back down even further into admitting that maybe he just doesnt understand the game that well?  Nope.  Every man has some semblance of pride whether justified or not.  He wouldnt say that.  We'll see if he puts in the effort this time around.  And if not, we'll see what has to say about it on his next team I suppose.

A dejected player only bashes his former team if he was any good.

In the absence of performance, we often find the subject will pin the blame on a lack of interest in the object   =))

When the twisters came through here a couple of years ago I just couldn't believe some of the things I saw the day after. The cameras can't capture the scope of the damage. It is like trying to take a photo of the Grand Canyon. It just isn't the same as seeing it with your own eyes. As bad as it looks on TV, its worse than that.

I wish all those in Oklahoma well and my prayers go out to them.

Since Shanahan arrived, the Giants have had more trouble on Offense against the Redskins than any other team in the Division, .........or the league for that matter. Now the Skins have started to put an Offense out there as well. They will be the biggest threat for the next few years, and I'm surprised to hear myself saying that.

Mike, he signed the contract, he took the money. some febble cop out about not having football as a priority is crappola. :boooo:

On the flip side, Jernigan said the coach was right and it is time for him to step up and do more.

His success or failure is on his own shoulders and he is taking ownership of it either way.  =D>

Claiborne was pretty disappointing for them last year.  Ask Cowboys fans if they've drafted well?  They haven't.  Lee as a good pick.  Bryant was a good pick.  Carr was a free agent.  They've blown a lot of other early picks.  And they are in cap trouble because they've had to replace those bad picks with pricey free agents.
