Quote from: LennG on Today at 01:55:40 PMAnother good thread reverting back to Jones. What is it with everyone, must everything be brought back to be about him?

Same with hearing about the OLine. It's nauseating at this stage.

6-8 wins top is my utterly pointless prediction. Obviously hoping for more and the post-season.

Not a company stooge but doesn't go heavy on the criticism is an oxymoron.

Anyway, I've not read a poster here that doesn't want Jones to succeed.

So I guess his criticism doesn't apply to this community.

I said it earlier this week, it's when you play them.

Who knows what injuries teams will have.

Tbf, that's a tremendous token. Love it.

I'm still buzzing.

Love CK20, always have but as you guys have said - that was one for the ages.

What a 3rd period. I thought they were unlucky to be one down after 1.

The Canes came hard and the Rangers rode their luck in the open 3-4 mins of 3rd but after that the Rangers were excellent. I said to my son, they just need the next goal. What a performance from Kreider, Bread was good, Zib was lively. Unreal 3rd.

Hopefully Boston take Florida to 7 as I think the extra time off will be most useful.

Edit - 8 to go!

I've said it before - this is a special group.

I put my son (10) to bed at 6pm. I've been getting him at midnight for puck drop. He loves it, sticks his Bread jersey on and wants a midnight snack with the game. I've enjoyed the playoffs as always but I'm just not relaxed about it.

My Mrs also gets up and watches it with us- she felt like she was missing out after all the noise during the Washington series!

If it's on in the UK, I'll watch it

As ever, it's not who you play it's when you play them.

It's a great opportunity to start against JJ or Darnold and then following up against Daniels.

These kids might be the real deal but they might also need time to bed in.

I also like the idea of finishing against, Indy, Atlanta and then an Eagles team who ought to be in the playoffs already.

Still a lot can happen between now and week 18 but right now, in May, I think it's a decent slate.

I don't know how to post a screen shot but 5/6 experts from The Athletic are picking the Rangers: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5496109/2024/05/16/nhl-playoffs-picks-odds-rangers-hurricanes-oilers-canucks/?source=user_shared_article

I wish I was that confident.

Do we really need games on Christmas Day?

I don't see the problem. It was well reported that the Giants tried to trade up for the QB of the future.

With that being said, does anyone think Jones is the "face of the franchise"?

I don't see the issue here.

Quote from: H-Town G-Fan on May 15, 2024, 10:41:29 AMSchedule is released.

Rough stretch early on with Cleveland, Dallas, Seattle, Cincinnati, and Philly over a five-week span. Need to start strong against Minnesota and Washington then carve out 2-3 wins from that difficult portion to have a realistic shot down the stretch.
If this is true, it's about as good as it gets.

It's hardly going to make the Giants much worse.

Will be interesting to see it. I'm all for it.
