It's mostly just background noise that folks gather around in groups and sift though on their devices, but don't really invest in very deeply.

Now get off my lawn.

Do you watch NFL games?

Rich: IMO, we're not short on topics right now, so why talk about guys who've never played an NFL game? Bob

PS. Sorry to be a stick in the mud... appreciate all you do for this site, but IMO this one could be brought up in late summer (maybe).

Quote from: andrew_nyGiants on Today at 03:27:51 PMPopular? Not to any true fan who actually care about the players.

I'm not sure I follow. You're saying anyone who is an NFL fan today doesn't care about the players? or cares less about them than fans of 30-50 years ago?

Please explain how the NFL of the 1970s, 80s, and 90s cared more about the players than the NFL of today. How did the fans back then care more? Do you think someone like Mike Webster's family would agree with you?

Jets grabbed him with the last pick of the 5th round. He was a sleeper pick I thought the Giants might be interested in. He's a big surprise and a lot of people will know the name "Stiggers" in the future
