Title: Tracking people via the browsers....
Post by: Blue4Life on July 31, 2021, 04:41:10 PM
I was reading the thread below:

https://giantsfans.net/message_board/index.php/topic,58425.0.html

Clicking on the bigblueview.com link in the thread, popped up a number of warnings in my browser. Being curious about the extent of the warning, an evaluation had been on order:

Now, I understand that the site wants to make some money, but 46 site cookies, 153 third-party cookies, notifying Facebook of your visit and allowing Google Analytic to follow you across the Internet. I for one, who will not visit the site...

Rich, you did a good job at the Big Blue Huddle, here's this sites evaluation:

:ok:   :ok: :ok:

B4L:  Thanks for your post... and yes, as I was reminded recently, the ONLY reason this site is here is our love of football (the Giants in particular... no profit motive... and I was planning a round-the-world cruise).  LOL

I wish I could take credit for not tracking people, but it's simply a byproduct of not trying to make money off our membership.   Without a profit motivation, where you go after you leave here is of no interest to me.
