$100.

He stole the $100 from the store. They've now lost $100.

He buys $70 worth of stuff from them, which is an even transaction (they get $70 but lose $70 worth of merchandise).

The original theft of the $100 is their loss. Everything after that is normal business activity.

I vaguely remember us discussing this here before.

The easiest way to think about this is just imagine when the guy steals the $100, and then he walks outside and puts that $100 bill in the glove compartment of his parked car.

Then he goes back in and buys some stuff for $70 using other money he had in his wallet. Then he leaves.

Clearly the store is out that $100 he originally took. The $70 was just a regular transaction where they gained $70 in cash and handed over $70 of merchandise to a customer. They're still down the original $100 either way.

It's more of a question that tries to trick you than one that is difficult to understand.

1. If you have me, you want to share me. If you share me, you don't have me. What am I?

OK.
This one tells me how dirty a mind you have.

What goes in dry, comes out wet and,  if used properly, can satisfy two people?

We have a winner.

I'm pleased everyone collectively kept their minds out of the sewer.

There is a word in the English language in which the first two letters signify a male, the first three letters signify a female, the first four signify a great man, and the whole word, a great woman. What is the word?
