Yay!
Eagles got away with contact there on Hyatt.
Probably a good no call.
Thibodeaux in coverage again. WTF
Nice stop
So what's the highest draft spot we can get ? 4th ?
We need Washington and Arizona to win ?
Where was this playcalling all season ?
Four different wide receivers targeted so far
Quote from: killarich on January 07, 2024, 04:39:14 PMWhere was this playcalling all season ?
The Eagles defense havent been able to stop a nose bleed over the last 4 weeks.
Still no first quarter touchdown. I believe the Giants came in 0 fer the season on first quarter touchdowns?
Quote from: killarich on January 07, 2024, 04:39:14 PMWhere was this playcalling all season ?
Helps to have a QB who can execute.
Poor tackling continues yet no one wants to discuss if it's coaching.
Do we have a defense??? We cannot stop mosquito....
What?? Turnover!!!
McFadden with a stop earlier and a fumble recovery but will still get negated by PPF because the tackle still lead to a first down and he was in the right place at the right time on the fumble recover. =))
And the turf monster claims yet another victim.
Iggle fans in the stands calling for Ronnie Barnes' head now that AJ Brown's season is over.
Giants must draft a QB. The current QBs can't stay healthy
Lol ..my god Taylor is the Ben Simmons of the NFL
TYrod the Potato Chip out injured again
Now DeVito may be hurt.
Geezus are Hyatt AND Devito both limping ?
There is no indication that Brown's season is over.
We need a new QB because we don't have a real one, not because they can't stay healthy
Siriani is an imbecile. You either rest your players or not. You don't decide in the middle of the game to do it. He already lost his top receiver.
Iggles: Brown
Giants: Taylor, DeVito, Hyatt
Sardine Can Turf: 4 - Football Players: 0

Patti Traina saying Tyrod Taylor(thumb) is questionable to return.
Lol Okereke. Probably the only chance to stop that play anyway
Somebody should just start wailing at Hurts when they do that push.... You wanna do that ish.... Then get ready to be hurt

Absolutely! He reminded me of Carl Banks diving over the pile to crack Danny White in 1987 on Monday Night.
Wow a false start
So they really weren't going to call that delay of game huh smh
Yay!
Is Eason the qb,
Love watching Siriani with his 🤡 face after a failed 4th down conversion!
Patti says TT is coming back in; Hyatt is downgraded to out.
Quote from: kartanoman on January 07, 2024, 05:08:55 PMLove watching Siriani with his 🤡 face after a failed 4th down conversion!
He's checking the scoreboard. Idiot.
Good they wanna do that dumb qb sneak ... any contact you get hurts you are subject to what just happened

The broadcast showed a mixture up in the lights. Understand it's not enough for impacting the ground.
Taylor has terrible hands
Taylor needs to lose that glove on his left hand. It did him no favors on that fumbled snap.
Great throw to Robinson to the 2 yard line!
Yay!
Who is this team wearing the blue uniforms?
That Giant offensive line is so bad.
Haven't seen Barkley drop the shoulders like that or run as hard at onset for most of season
Taylor head and shoulders the best QB on the roster.
Washington hanging tough. I can feel the noose tightening on Sirianni.
Obvious hold on Lawrence right in front of refs and they ignored it
Great Dane Belton!
Dane Belton ...the future
All those who felt Great Dane wasn't gonna amount to much - the kid is always near the ball!...good for him
Quote from: killarich on January 07, 2024, 05:20:29 PMObvious hold on Lawrence right in front of refs and they ignored it
Saw it
A Darren Waller sighting
Jones cannot make the throw TT just made to Waller
Nice throw
It's night and day when TT is in compared to Cutlets.
This Giants offensive line is one of the best I've seen in the NFL today.
Saquon going out in style.
Robinson and Hyatt
We just need a WR1 ...and the future qb
Again, Yay!
Unmotivated Eagles B team. Giants look good
Quote from: killarich on January 07, 2024, 05:27:13 PMWe just need a WR1 ...and the future qb
Good luck getting the latter after today.
I like how the announcers keep bringing up the Eagles injuries ... like Giants haven't been getting dinged up either
Quote from: sooners56 on January 07, 2024, 05:27:56 PMUnmotivated Eagles B team. Giants look good
Unmotivated and just a mess.
Hello Iggles, the Cowboys are LOSING!!! Why are you throwing the game???
17-0 Giants? Must be an illusion!
Okay Nicky..you can really tank away since your guys are. Wow. Game never started. Good effort by our heroes for being pros Philly =))
Are the Eagles sleepwalking through this game?
Unless TT is the QB next year, this performance so far will not translate to next year. The Giants wouldn't be up 17-0 with either Jones or DeVito
The Iggles O-Line, who hasn't allowed a Giant sack in who knows how long, is all of a sudden playing like the Giants' O-Line for most of the season?
I smell a rat!
So chargers are passing us on the draft board... are we dropping down to 6th ?
Quote from: jgrangers2 on January 07, 2024, 05:31:29 PMAre the Eagles sleepwalking through this game?
Nope. The Giants are motivated beyond belief. I've never seen Barkley run this hard consistently since rookie year. He is running unafraid today
Iron Man Waller out with a stinger.
Quote from: killarich on January 07, 2024, 05:32:20 PMSo chargers are passing us on the draft board... are we dropping down to 6th ?
Well we know the Chargers aren't taking a QB and seem pretty deep at WR
Yes the Eagles sacrificed AJ Brown to tank /s
I know this means nothing, big picture....yadda yadda.
But I LOVE handing it to these horrible bar-stewards.
Quote from: Trench on January 07, 2024, 05:32:42 PMNope. The Giants are motivated beyond belief. I've never seen Barkley run this hard consistently since rookie year. He is running unafraid today
I agree. Resumé game, for sure! Still, nice to see him hitting the end zone a couple of times.
Let's invoke the spirit of Buddy Ryan and put a bounty on Hurts' finger.
Quote from: TDToomer on January 07, 2024, 05:34:20 PMWell we know the Chargers aren't taking a QB and seem pretty deep at WR
True
Giants will be in probably the most awkward draft position they could be in
Wow
Yay (Again)!
What is happening right now
Rod Serling, STOP IT!!!
Is Pederson back in Philli and tanking for some reason?

Sirianni might get booed off the bus in Philly :boooo: :boooo: :boooo:
Of course eagles are sitting starters now ... just to make it seem like the game didn't matter
I hope they get embarrassed in the playoffs

It is what it is. We are beating the snot out of the stinking Philthy Eagles and it feel good.
I wonder what this game means for the future. How does it affect personal decisions. Coaching decisions. Etc.
Eagles are battered physically and mentally. Don't know how that is turned around in a week.

Taylor is a warrior. Imagine if he was the starter from game one though likely he would have gotten injured.

Which game do you think they would have won with him instead of Jones?
Best part about Taylor what he did for this organization is to show everyone what Jones is not. Also he proved our WR can get open and our line can play decent if the QB gives them some help
Quote from: coggs on January 07, 2024, 06:24:31 PMWhich game do you think they would have won with him instead of Jones?
I said imagine. I didn't say they would beat those teams but certainly they would have been more competitive. Seahawks? Jets if he stayed healthy. Saints.
This is a game thread, not Dan Jones is bad thread. Keep it so.

Agreed. I was talking about Taylor who has had a remarkable day
Stop using Thibs and Ojulari in coverage, for Chrissakes.
Taylor is a tease..he lost the bills game and the eagles game
How many games is this in a row where Thibs is useless?
Quote from: sooners56 on January 07, 2024, 06:33:02 PMHow many games is this in a row where Thibs is useless?
zero. He's having a phenomenal game.
Quote from: coggs on January 07, 2024, 06:31:50 PMNo chance.
Seattle was the game turned me on Jones.
The pinck six he threw was one million percent on Jones.
That game was there for us, a healthy Tyrod gives us a helluva chance there.
Next season will be tough cos of Jones' contract.

Taylor is having a very nice game. If this were hockey, he'd be a shoo in for first star.

Head and shoulders the best QB on the roster. Which is why getting a QB is imperative.
Quote from: coggs on January 07, 2024, 06:43:07 PMGuess you are forgetting how bad Taylor was against Buffalo, last week, etc.
I'm not saying Taylor is the second coming of YA Tittle and will lead us to the promised land [I'd say the exact opposite TBH].
But a healthy Taylor wins us more games than a healthy Jones this season IMHO.
Now, that's two HUGE caveats ("healthy") but I'd stand on it.

He's exhausted. Hands on hips as QB goes through his snap count. Is able to be handled 95% of time by a single Tackle. We need a lot more from this guy to compete at a high level.
I would like to think a lot of this is on Wink but he also looks tired to me
Thibs only shows up against lousy teams.
No flags no contact playing not to get hurt.

You're asking a backup to win against 2 playoff teams / SB contenders sounds fair. What is Daniel Jones then?
Quote from: sooners56 on January 07, 2024, 06:51:22 PMHow? Explain?
He's been all over the place and had a stuffed run earlier.
Barkley dancing and studdering all half. Looks like a different player
Sure is nice to see and hear CBS calling the game, like the old days!! One odf the main reasons I went to bat for them oh those many years ago...
What a nice hard run by Gray!
I'd be just as happy being a 5 win team with Tyrod starting if they told Jones to go pound sand when he asked for 45 million a year in the off season.
I hope Grey scores on this drive.

I've no idea why Thibs has dropped into coverage so much this season, you'd need to ask Wink.
We have a player there, how he's used next year no idea. I'd like to see him causing xxxx in the backfield next year, but I'd more like to see us having a top 5 D next year.
I think the two are in no way exclusive

Yes, but he has to be schemed to do that.
He's dropped so often it must've been called.
We've got a player in five, we need to use him better.
That was uninspired total tank job as I suspected by the Eagles. They were D O.A. Quit on their coach and staff. Sirianni is a clown that will certainly get canned. :boooo:
C'mon now, they just beat the Eagles, so why not bitch about Thibodeaux just to make sure to minimize any trace of misplaced satisfaction. Geezus Peezus!

I second your call-out on Siriani the 🤡. The quit was in the game plan from the get-go. But, then again, losing to the Cardinals last week, in the manner that they lost, and seeing their response today, plus the injuries they incurred, makes it difficult for me to see them recover for next week.
But the Wild Card round is wild for a reason. It will be interesting if the Iggles lose next week and what kind of impact it will have on Siriani. Definitely begs watching.
Peace!
