Quote from: Jolly Blue Giant on Today at 03:54:06 PMLast year, the Schoen introduced the modern war room - nothing on the walls except logo and team name, everyone with a laptop or monitor. I haven't seen any room as decked out as the Giants, but none of them have anything on the wall...unlike last year. Makes me wonder if deciphering the Cowboys' draft wall a couple years ago and seeing he had Thibs and Neal as no's 1 and 2 overall, made everyone rethink their war room

I noticed it too, I even mentioned it to my Wife

Quote from: Jclayton92 on Today at 03:39:08 PMThey had the number 1 running game because of everything else around them. Mostert was an undrafted free agent and Achane was taken with the 84th pick. We now have a guy taken 72nd overall, a guy taken at 172 and 2 undrafted guys.

Mostert was floundering on the 49ers and the Dolphins got him for nothing. So if they can have the best rushing attack paying pennies on the dollar using guys that aren't necessarily great but are being used properly why wouldn't I also want that for the Giants?

Are you saying the Mostert are just average JAGs and if you put Gary Brightwell on the Dolphins he'd excel? How far do you take this "product" of the system" philosophy?

Has to be a real hidden gem to get excited about.  So far only high RAS and low mileage on legs and kickoff ability seem positive.

Quote from: brownelvis54 on Today at 03:40:42 PMBecause we have Devin Singletary, Dante Miller, Eric Gray, and Gary Brightwell. a DT like Mekhi Wingo is more needed. Like I said months ago, why not take a chance on Michael Pratt in the latter rounds. He could sit for one year, low risk, perhaps high reward.

In the 5th round you are looking for intangibles or a player you can plug in that does 1 thing really well. KR/PR has been horrible for multiple years now and now that is probably solved.

166. NEW YORK GIANTS: TYRONE TRACY, RB, PURDUE
Height: 5-foot-11

Weight: 209 pounds

STRENGTHS
Combine star
3-down potential
Explosive playmaker
WEAKNESSES
Experience
Instincts
Power
Team Fit: A former receiver, Tyrone Tracy is a project at RB. But he could pay off handsomely. His burst and fluidity are uncommon, and the Giants had a big need.

Grade: B-
