This is why I said, let's not anoint the GM and HC after one year. McAdoo and Judge were looking good after one year too. I hope there's not a knee jerk reaction and it ends badly for Daboll this year.

Every year fans make predictions on what they see in camp and pre season and every year there's no correlation; yet, we'll be here next year doing the same thing.  Fundamentally, we've had the same core for 4+ years...they are who they are and changing yet another coach isn't going to change anything. 

Simmons is my guy. I hope he gets more time and freedom to make an impact. Love his hustle.

Some first half notes

- The #Giants OL is still a major issue
- Loss of JMS muddles an already bad IOL (and overall OL tbh)
- Great first drive - WEAK TUSH PUSH game
- Excellent to have Wan'Dale back
- Breida made several big plays - but also left some on the field
- It's painfully difficult for the Giants to throw +20yds -an designed concepts
- Another field side C2 flat CBs almost had a gimme due to DJ throwing to the No.2 on an out
- Solid job by OFF to get points after starting drive on the 2

- The pass rush came alive in the beginning
- Kayvan Thibodeaux's best half of the year
- Azeez Ojulari is very important to this defense
- DJ Davidson is the third best IDL on the team
- Noah Fant...this team's open field tackling is atrocious
- Both teams are committing DUMB/SILLY penalties
- Lack of discipline by Giants' players - wasn't really an issue last year
- Sloppy football — Giants need to finish this out
- Special teams is a joke

Giants seem like night and day from last year's team in terms of operation, discipline, tackling, and offensive success

Ryan Poles is going to get the chance to draft the core of his new team. Fields wasn't his guy. This teams best playmaker is an oft injured running back who may not have many years left and they're tied to a QB who very well may not be the guy for at least two years. I don't think it's that clear cut.

Ugh.....this is so bad!

How did we get so bad so quickly from last year?!?!?!?
