So much for players long-term health but the onus remains on the NFLPA.

Many former players recognize their life spans will be shortened and still will take the cash

Vegas loves it and bettors too.

New kickoff rule has everything to do here with Tracy. He seems like an out-of-the box kc guy. I assume some teams will simply blast the ball anyway to the 35, if they can.

But unpredictable I welcome with staid offense.

Well..they are counting on the new OL coach apparently to salvage Neal. That is sketchy, at best.

Dave,

I concur. Wpuld rather have a corner, but Nubin is a great alternative.

I can't believe the Commodes traded with the Eagles, handing them DeJean. Cooper is going to burn them. How stupid.

He makes plays all the time. Nubin is an excellent pick whom I've watched several times with the Gophers. He really surprises you with his natural instincts..baits qbs into picks..tackles well. A+ for me.

Ballhawk!

Quote from: uconnjack8 on April 26, 2024, 08:24:06 AMI see your point, but then why the hell would you give that guy $100 million guaranteed?

That's what Blank was probably saying too last night. Can't defend that move on any level. Mind boggling. Why bother to sign Cousins (and tamper)? Trade down..add picks and still get Penix mid-round. Or simply add a quality player.

The Falcons? Enough said. Did anyone catch that awkward war room..execs standing around..gm trying to explain to Blank what the heck was that Penix pick. Talk about blank stares!

Bizarre. And don't forget the Vikings are probably going to get compensated in next year's draft for Cousins tampering.

That was (should be) a fireable offense by Fontenot. Dumb and dumberer.

It was the best option. Nabers is a supreme talent on a team that needs great potential players everywhere.

They couldn't get a top line qb..so they acted sensibly. Next year is another opportunity to find the future at qb. It wasn't going to happen without digging a hole now and into next year. JJ wasn't the answer.

Are we there yet? Geeze. Plenty might happen. Strap yourself in, time your snack and bathroom breaks. Have the ability in a big spot to multi-task media.  <:-P

Not for me. Dinky Dunky overall system guy. Nope. Pac-10 was a godawful defensive conference.

Quote from: AZGiantFan on April 25, 2024, 02:31:59 PMWouldn't it be exciting if the draft was an actual auction?  Teams get bidding points based on prior year's record, and then they auction off the players.  Pre-draft trades would be players for points.

Uh..no. Full stop.

Oh boy. Greg Cosell's JJ comp is Andy Dalton. Yikes. He likes Pratt. He loves Brock Bowers.

Well..there been others back in the day when teams didn't have a clue..like. the Giants (Rocky Thompson)..In terms of bad.

Now that the draftnudniks resurface every season, there's much less surprise. Or wise still. But we basically know who but not the whom.
