Would Arizona trade down?

There is a lot of speculation that the Vikings want to draft a QB and want to move up to a position to grab one. What slot can they move into? I believe the first 3 are a lock and will not trade out but what about Arizona? I think they have to draft one of the top WRs and if they trade down with the Vikings they lose out on that. No way any of the top guys are there at 11. Would SD trade down and also miss out on one of the 2 really top guys?
If we really didn't want a QB, and the top 3 are gone along with the top 2 WRs do We trade down and lose out on any of the top QBs and not able to draft one of the 2 top WRs?
What would we get for trading out of the #6 slot in return?

Ideal hypothetical position:

JJ is still on the board and Minnesota desperately wants him. They trade both their first rounders and a 4th to the Giants to move up to 6th. If one of the WRs/TE(Bowers) is still on the board, Giants trade their new no.11 pick and a 3rd (or some kind of combinations of picks) to move back up to get him

Giants still have two first rd picks and everybody's happy :what:
The joke I told yesterday was so funny that,
apparently, HR wants to hear it tomorrow

I think the Commanders at 2 drive everything.  Assuming Williams goes 1, we all know the Commanders will take a QB.  If they draft a QB NOT favored by other teams then the Pats and Cards picks really become valuable.

If the Commanders draft Maye and everyone else wanted Maye then I think trades are less likely to happen.

Funny, I just read an article stating the Vikings will be looking to sign Dak Prescott when he reaches free agency next season...

Except the Giants when they're stuck with no QB.... STILL.

Anything except a QB in this draft is a failure.

Ric. Not everyone is happy, including myself. Since you see no value in drafting a QB ASAP, who is going to man the helm for the Giants? Wow, what a choice between Jones and Lock. Sorry my friend, but anything else besides a QB with any #1 pick is akin to another 5 years of disaster, and I am running out of years to say wait until next year, and then the year after that and continue that logic for how many years now?

Agree 100% with this. The Giants have an advantage with the #6 draft position. Ari or SD don't move all that much, and would still get their desired pick at #6, especially SD. I want JJ. He wins, period, and has skills that Daboll can hone.

I vehemently disagree with the notion that you consciously walk away from drafting a QB you believe to be a franchise QB, simply because you don't have all the pieces on the rest of the roster to support him.

The above may well be a reason not to put said QB into your starting lineup in year one, but it is not a reason not to draft him at all, assuming you don't already have a franchise QB or someone you strongly believe is headed in that direction. It is extremely rare and tough to even be in the position to get a franchise QB. If you're in that position, and you need one, you have to take him no matter what the rest of the time looks like. Guess what - there are other rounds in the draft besides the first round. You can draft supporting players in the ensuing rounds of that draft, and you can dedicate the entire next offseason to building the offense aorund the QB if you want and just sit him his whole rookie year. Hell, the Packers kept Jordan Love on ice for two full seasons prior to starting him, and they now figure to be one of the better teams in the NFC this year.

There are all kinds of ways you can play it if you don't have a good enough team for everything to be perfect for your rookie, future star QB. But you have to get him into the organization if you have the opportunity. I don't think there is any question about that. The position is just too important to be messing around with it like that.
