Gee, if the season ended today how many votes would Dabol get for Coach of the Year.

Cousins was a 4th round pick by the Redskinsout of Michigan State.

Same draft Redskins traded THREE 1st round draft picks for the right to draft RG III.

Just sayin' :)

Quote from: spiderblue43 on September 16, 2024, 02:19:27 PMHe has to win against the Comms all day, and he fell way short. That's disturbing. So next, he goes against a battered offensive line in the Browns. He has to create plays against a poor offense and steal some field position, cash in with points. If that fails, the rails are coming off with this trade this year. Then, a new coach and gm possibly have to weave thru the roster, scrap this edition, but he is locked in, however, regardless of change. How he can make an impact, realize his potential they thought of. etc. is going to be the question soon.

Dark days are looming. This start is about as bad as it gets.

Spider.

Love your posts but I hate to tell you "Dark days are HERE".  They have taken up permanent residence and are even subletting rooms.

We need an exterminator.

Big Blue Huddle / Re: Gano out for "weeks"

Why work out new kickers.

I like the strategy of leaving the kicker on the practice squad.  Really screws with the other teams head.  Maybe they will even laugh so hard we can convert a 2 point conversion.

Added benefit, with no pesky PK in uniform, we only need to now dress 51 and can save even more money.

Of course they should.  But let's be real our "way" must be the right way because the Giants are worth over EIGHT BILLION DOLLARS.

No wins, doofus coaching, head scratching front office decisions are no longer the criteria for judging success.

EIGHT BILLION DOLLARS and rising is our Super Bowl trophy now.

Once again, this organization is so far behind the curve in evaluating talent in relation to $.  Shoen just got snookered by his old buddy at Carolina.

Memo to Shoen....this is a dog eat dog profession.  You got took.

Memo to fans.... what you see in front of you is the absolute worst football organization on just about every level.  Talent evaluation, contracts equaling talent level and importance to the process of building a winning organization and team, HC and GM selection, decision making on game day, medical staff, damn near everything needed to build a long term winning organization we are totally deficient.

If there is a George Young and Ray Perkins out there we need to find them.  Good things will only start when we find two EXPERIENCED people to start and clean out this quagmire.  And be prepared it will be a long slow process.  Acquisitions and contracts like Burns are just the tip of the iceberg.

The New York Football Giants are the dictionary definition of cluster@@@k.

Quote from: sxdxca38 on September 15, 2024, 08:19:34 PMNo, they didn't all win, Trevor Lawrence lost, who makes 55 million a year and more than Jones.

Herbert played against the worst defense in the NFL.

The point of the response was in answering Jclayton's comment that D. Carr makes less than Jones.

Herbert, Lawrence, and Mahomes all make more than Jones.

I consider Herbert and Mahomes to be elite.

Daniel Jones' performance was good enough to win. If Nabers holds onto the ball, Singletary doesn't fumble, and Gano doesn't get injured the Giants win this game.

And if Washington doesn't commit 5 red zone penalties they blow our doors off.

Quote from: kartanoman on September 15, 2024, 09:32:58 PM@Giant Obsession : Mike, add this one to your history books as well as your kindling for burning the head coach at the stake.

Simply a mesmerizing, fascinating fact the likes of which we may never see again.

Just wow!

Done.....actually added it about 20 minutes ago.

100 years it's nice to know we can still set records that will never be broken.

I keep thinking after the mid 60's thru 1980 we could never approach this level of mediocrity again, but damn, I was wrong.  Honestly glad I am much older now, I shudder what this would have done to me 50 years ago.

Dan,
If you've been reading any of my stuff for almost the past year you haven't missed a thing.

Three strikes and your out......
Strike ONE -- opening night at home against Dallas
Strike TWO --  Buffalo.  One yard for the win twice and your all world RB does not touch the ball

Strike THREE -- Jets game.  Again one yard to finish the game and you send out your injured kicker while this same all world RB that was so important to us stands on the sideline.

Dabsy is the new poster child for the Peter Principle.  In spades.

Quote from: JT39 on September 15, 2024, 08:53:36 PMHe was on the PS. We had 52 guys dressed. He could have been elevated and the roster wouldn't have been compromised whatsoever.

A complete inept coaching jobz

That is the norm for dabsy poo.  But wait, maybe this is all Wink's or Kafka's fault.

WHEN will the front office realize who the real problem is ???

I HATE to admit this but this is my 2nd year of not caring that has amped into BFD when we lose cuz maybe they will finally see daboll ain't it.   He's a position coach at best.

NOT a HC

NOT a OC

Only a QB coach with Josh Allen.

Until he is gone I just don't give a damn any more after 63 years......I never thought that would happen.   I should be ashamed to admit that to you. but I'm not.
