So next, he goes against a battered offensive line in the Browns. He has to create plays against a poor offense and steal some field position, cash in with points. If that fails, the rails are coming off with this trade this year. Then, a new coach and gm possibly have to weave thru the roster, scrap this edition, but he is locked in, however, regardless of change. How he can make an impact, realize his potential they thought of. etc. is going to be the question soon.
Dark days are looming. This start is about as bad as it gets.
Quote from: sxdxca38 on September 15, 2024, 08:19:34 PMNo, they didn't all win, Trevor Lawrence lost, who makes 55 million a year and more than Jones.
Herbert played against the worst defense in the NFL.
The point of the response was in answering Jclayton's comment that D. Carr makes less than Jones.
Herbert, Lawrence, and Mahomes all make more than Jones.
I consider Herbert and Mahomes to be elite.
Daniel Jones' performance was good enough to win. If Nabers holds onto the ball, Singletary doesn't fumble, and Gano doesn't get injured the Giants win this game.

Simply a mesmerizing, fascinating fact the likes of which we may never see again.
Just wow!
Quote from: JT39 on September 15, 2024, 08:53:36 PMHe was on the PS. We had 52 guys dressed. He could have been elevated and the roster wouldn't have been compromised whatsoever.
A complete inept coaching jobz
