Thanks I admired Andy.  A brave comedian to the end....appreciate the allusion

I speak my mind and in my mind the truth.  This entire post 2011 era has been a continual mind blowing sea of Giants ineptitude

Someone has to call them out.  A free medium coke once a decade just does not satisfy my thirst for another Lombardy

I'm sure, I could run this franchise far better than Mara and his Clown Toot Toot Train

Too much fraternity and aspiring for mediocrity as a goal

Mara needs to lose his man love for bad players and and bad play and bring in the GOAT- Belicheck and give him total control

Lock is behind Jones in 'experience' despite being part of the same draft class because of nearly 3 years backing up (including one with no snaps). Questions over Lock's preparation, focus and processing saw him fall to R2 in 2019. They continued in Denver. I suspect his ceiling is a slightly less bonkers Jameis Winston boom/bust type. Can Daboll, Kafka, Tierney improve him? It might be fun finding out.

Tim,

Is there anything easier to ignore than a mean Tweet about you on Twitter?

Much of the early criticism of Dave Gettleman was that he basically was a front man hired to do the bidding of the Maras.

For example:

"We aren't replacing Eli Manning. Build a team around him. Draft Saquon Barkley."

"We aren't replacing Daniel Jones. Build a team around him."

"We aren't trading Saquon Barkley. Pay the man."

Many suggested that if such ultimatums were issued at the time of Gettleman's hiring, he should have simply refused the job.

I see a lot folks STILL insist that directives come from John or Chris Mara concerning Daniel Jones' future.

If Gettleman really should have refused the position based on Mara meddling, should the same criticism not apply to Joe Schoen? Do we really believe that Jones is still here because he is the pet of team ownership? Is Joe Schoen really bending to the will of John & Chris Mara? Is Mara Meddling really as big a thing as it's made out to be?

Things happen. I never thought they would trade up for Maye or that the Pats would trade that pick. McCarthy I'm not sure. Time will tell if it was a mistake or not. My issue is that getting a young, new QB is inevitable. The longer they wait to find a franchise QB that can possibly get them deep into the playoffs and/or Super Bowl, the longer we fans have to watch mediocrity. So now that is put off at least another couple of seasons even if they get a rookie QB next year.

This does seem to be the most likely scenario.

No. At this point, the Giants are hoping that they can salvage Neal, or Eleumenor gives them capable RT play. I am hesitant to keep throwing high picks at the OL when this team is still talent-deficient in numerous other areas. While Wan'Dale and Hyatt are nice players, at this point they can't be counted on to be anything more than complementary. I see Nabers as a difference maker. Maybe not this season, but in 2025 and beyond.

Heck no and this is coming from someone that thinks ALt will be great.

At some point you gotta coach up what you have. Brillo pad will wipe the stink of Bobby Johnsons coaching off of our poor lineman  =))  One of Neal or Eluemenor play RT the other RG. Runyon is a plus pass blocking LG, Thomas is Thomas, JMS was supposedly the best OC in last year's draft and smart. I'm fine with what we got NOW that we have what seems to be a top notch OL coach in place.

The most important question: "Why?"
He's never been a deep ball thrower ever. People say stuff like accurate deep ball etc because he only throws deep if he Is wide open so sure he'll be accurate but it's a misrepresentation. Is some on the oline, absolutely but for the most part it is likely a mentaly thing.
