Supposedly when the Pats were on the clock the Giants offered their number 6, their second round pick and their 2025 first round pick and Kraft turned it down.

I thought it was a draft for need . The Giants have too many hole to draft the best player available . That said I would say it was a very good draft . My only comment is that instead of drafing Tracy in the 5th round , we should have drafted Platt Rattler or Travis . Maybe Travis was taken by the Jets in the 4th round and would not have been available .

Instead of drafting Tracy in the 5th round do you think the Giants should have drafted Rattler, Platt or Travis instead ? Wouldn't that have more sense? Actually I am not sure if the Jets had drafted Travis in the 4th round

Does anyone think that Schoen, in trying to save his job, will trade up to get a QB , most likely Maye, and then say to Mara that you have to let  Daboll and me time to develop him.

I have said this numerous times but it is worth repeating again . The last time we traded down we lost out on Micah Parsons .

Does he have a chance to make the team ? Anyone know anytrhing  about him ?     Thanks

If I were JMS, I'm counting my blessings I survived that experience, can turn the page and look forward to a new coach in Bricillo, and new and experienced linemen, who will help me get back on my development track and allow me to show the Giants, and their fans, the skills I have which made them want to draft me in the first place.

I'm not the least bit concerned. Quite the contrary, I'm excited for the young man, as well as the tackles that they have a professional coaching them now with a track record for development and success.

In last years draft , Schmitz and Joe Tippman from Wisconsin were considered the two top centers in the draft and many pundits lauded them as future all pros.

In evaluating Schmitz' performance last year , he was not given a very good one.

I am not an offensive line judge , far from it , but can someone whose knowledge of offensive lineman and their performance is far, far greater than mine please tell me what were Schmitz' shortcomings, what does he have to improve in, is he still in the conversation of a possible All Pro and our center for years to come and might be considered a poor draft choice, ( too early ?) ? . Centers seem to have lengthy careers in the NFL.

I know absolutely nothing about him.

Not sure what you mean. Daniels will not be around at #6 . The Commanders or Pats will take him. Are you suggesting that we trade up for him ?
