Hands down....the MOST resilient Ranger team of my lifetime.

18 guys with backbone suited up every night and a goalie who almost defies description.

Mr Laviolette is Joe Torre of 1996.  A solid "ugh" when he was hired admit it.  Well, pass me some crow and cranberry sauce.

Don't wake me up....please.

I doubt there will be more than a handful of games where we are attempting to run out the clock.

But your point is right on.

Definitely.

But if it is Maye, he will still be out the door in 2 years.

Better plan for Shoen and some job security is to draft THREE solid starters.  And by that I mean big upgrades in areas of need, not just someone who is marginally better than the tepid bodies already occupying the positions of need.

We already know the entire draft class will make the roster but there better be some quality upgrades even if the Day 3 guys are special teamers.  Special teams can be such momentum changers in a game and we need game changers in that dept.

Shortfuse Dabs is on his own me thinks, Shoen ain't gonna save him, he needs to save himself, if that is possible.  It is now Year 3 of this rebuild and ol shortfuse is on the clock.

Like having a root canal every day for 4 months.  Now comes 4 months of assessing and grading each teams draft.

Ugh.

Two more drafts with top 10 picks and I am confident we will find one.

If they draft a QB it will show how tight our shortguse HC and Shoen are.

If no QB, will that is Shoen telling "shortfuse" you're on your own son.

Shoen's jpb is secure for at least a couple more years, maybe 3.

Shortfuse, the sands are running thru the hourglass.

Well, it never pays to even passively root for the fishsticks.  Just hoping they can extend Carolina maybe 1 or 2 games and voila, they forget the game is 60 minutes long.

I guess best hope is they can steal one at home.

So now he will play this year.

Gonna need the cash.

Cut him now...absorb the hit.

Keep skipping Slayton.  The UFL and CFL always need roster fodder WR with no separation (except for the occasional fly pattern)and hands that ...well let's be nice....have a tendency to be suspect.

WHY are we even concerned with dime a dozen WR and way over the hill TE.

THIS is a major reason we have the lack of roster talent.  Let Slayton eat up someone elses cap space for average at best (in a good year) production.

Waller.....c'mom....please.

Quote from: uconnjack8 on April 16, 2024, 05:50:14 PMTough to win games when you get down 2 scores in the 1st half almost every week.

And equally tough when your roster on the whole just plain lacks talent and depth.

But drafting a new QB with pick 6 should rectify all that :)

Capital.

I hate the Capitals.

A plus is they are the team that had just canned our HC, so he better have the blueshirts breathing fire.

IF we can not replace an over 30, oft injured, overpaid TE on our roster then Lord help us.

WHY do they do these interviews.  All politically correct statements and answers, no real information.

And that is reason WHY we are picking a QB.....job security and Schoen and hothead.
