I have to laugh at all the Ohatani and this and that. And the "why do you think he is going to Japan all the time watch him because he likes the Sushi' talk.

So let that be a lesson; just because a GM goes to watch a ton of games of a very expensive free agent; doesn't mean it is a lock or even a possibility to sign him.

Why did Payton not like Wilson? I thought he was benched for his poor play and seeing what they had in  a lost season. It had more to do with his not waiving an injury clause? He posted decent numbers.. I have to say while his stats are good -- and admittedly I only see him during nationally TV games -- he always looks awful to me.

I usually don't watch hockey except the occasional Rangers game and when they are in the playoffs. But just seems like every time a hockey game is on it was some weird team I never heard of before eg.Minnesota Wild; Vegas golden knights ; Seattle krafken ; Nashville whatever's.

Were these teams in Canada before and just moved to the US?

He is now an "Offensive assistant". He will be working with the OC. So he is not a HC; he is not an OC; but an assistant. Can we finally close the book on him being this savant "who would have drafted Mahomes" and knew Eli was cooked etc.

His last playoff game looked a lot like his 2nd one where he compiled a bunch of stats; threw costly Ints and fumbled the ball away. He compiles great stats in the reg season and is also playing with a top rated defense, but  always seems to have difficulty with throwing and running doesn't seem to be as effective in the playoffs.

I bet he can still coach. But like he says Players win games. Also I think with him being GM and his legacy, Mara would be a non factor i.e. no Shep, no Jones playing here and / or on scholarship, no Barkley if he so desires.

I like the dude , great QB, and HOFer even should be considered one of all time greats, and I do like that when he talks in press conferences, it is not just the vanilla "yeah team effort , 110% etc".but this is not a good look and he really is embarrasing himself at this point.

Anyone else tired of the rumor mill concerning this + other things. It turns out 6 years ago he wasn't interested in playing in NY. Nothing has changed.

Watching MNF just for 1/2 the game and Sunday Eagles / Bills games; this is still Joe Judge/ Garret 2.0.

DEvito still sucks and lacks that talent that it takes to be a real NFL QB. A few good throws not withstanding. And he just plays not to make mistakes and not to lead on offense down the field. NOt sure if this is Daboll in general ; since why re-sign Jones then since he is just a little better than DEvito in that regard; or what the hell this is , but Giants are not even close to competing with these QBs
